"Great Place with Some Nursing Concerns"
Northwood Manor is really good. My father-in-law lives there now and he loves it. They treat him well and the transportation is great. He has a beautiful apartment. He’s almost a hoarder, but his place is always spotless! The cleaning staff comes in once or twice a week, and they do an amazing job. My one complaint is the nursing director. She can’t multitask and often gets people’s medications wrong. She also doesn’t manage her nursing staff well. However, the managing director, Melissa, is amazing, and the food is good too. I would send my parents there, but I’d use an outside firm to handle their medications. I don’t trust the nursing director at Northwood Manor to do that.
