Oasis Dementia Care

"Oasis Review Summary"
The staff at Oasis provided excellent care. The nurse station kept me informed about my mother’s well-being. I appreciated their attention to detail. During her final days, Hospice helped make her comfortable. Oasis truly cares about their patients!” And there you have it! 😊 If you need anything else, feel free to ask!

"Nice Assisted Living Facility, Limited Space, Knowledgeable Guide"
The place was pretty good. One thing I appreciated was that there weren't too many residents for each nurse to care for. However, I wasn't impressed that the rooms were tiny and lacked closets. This was my guide's first time showing visitors around, but I have to say, she did a fantastic job. She seemed like she really knew her stuff.

"Understaffed Facility with Rude Staff, Bad for Alzheimer's & Dementia"
This place doesn't have enough staff, and the ones they do have are mean and don't do their jobs right. Even though they say it's a good place for people with Alzheimer's and dementia, I don't agree.

"Unsatisfactory Service and False Alzheimer's Claims"
This place doesn't have enough employees. The ones they do have aren't nice and they ignore the needs of the residents. They say it's suitable for people with Alzheimer's and dementia, but that's not true.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place has been alright, but the issue was the initial check wasn't thorough, and they really emphasize avoiding falls. We've had to pay extra for more help from another group to cover everything. It's all tidy, but I've noticed they've scaled back on care since we got extra help. There's not much communication between the place and the outside helpers. It's been tough finding the right fit for this middle stage.

"Fine but Flawed: Decent Living Facility with Communication Issues"
This place has been decent overall. However, we bumped into a few issues when we first came in. The initial evaluation wasn't as thorough as it should have been, and they focused a lot on preventing falls. We ended up needing to get additional help from a separate agency, which we had to pay for. Everything is kept tidy, but it's as if they backed off on their level of care ever since we got the extra help. There also seems to be some difficulty in communication between this facility and our outside helpers. It's been a bit tough to figure out what's best for someone who's not quite needing full-time care.
