Rittenhouse Village At Valparaiso

"Pleasant staff, mixed service, costly, wife comfortable."
Staff greetings were pleasant. Admissions and finances were helpful. Memory Center staff were mostly helpful but understaffed. Housekeeping needs more effort. Meals sometimes cold. Costly; unsure if worth it. Wife treated well, comfortable.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Promises and Communication"
Make sure they're honest. We were promised a furnished room, but it wasn't furnished. They said they'd help with Medicaid, but they're not. Rent went up $1000 suddenly. They wait until meds are gone to refill. They gave wrong info about Medicaid to the new place.

"Poor care ends with hospitalisation, not recommended"
They told me my relative could stay till the end, but they decided they weren't able to give him the care he needed. I think in the memory care part, they should do a better job taking care of people, not just leaving them alone in their rooms. My relative didn't get the care he needed and ended up in the hospital because of sores. I would tell others not to use these facilities'.

"Impressed with facility, feels like high-class hotel, happy overall."
We liked the facility and staff on our first visit. It feels more like a high-class hotel than a nursing home. Overall, we're pleased with Rittenhouse.

"Safety Concerns, Overall Positive Experience"
We visited and the staff was really nice and helpful. They answered all our questions about taking care of our family member. The place was super clean and the people living there looked happy. But, I worry because it's two stories and that's not safe for my mom.

"Really Happy"
Rittenhouse Senior Living of Valparaiso is expensive, but it's worth it. We are really happy with the staff so far. The activities are great, and the staff does a good job getting residents involved. Mom seems well cared for, and we can visit anytime. They are very transparent, and we are very happy.

"Assisted living too big and intimidating for loved one"
We visited this place when we were searching for care choices for a family member. I felt it looked nice overall, but it wouldn't have suited my loved one. It was really big, and I believe it would've been too scary for her.

"Very nice place!"
Rittenhouse is a great place! It's clean, friendly, and well-organized. The staff keeps an eye on everyone's schedule and ensures residents are taken care of. The activities are fantastic, although they can be tiring. Live music is a bonus!

"Great Help Finding the Best Assisted Living Option"
Senior Living Advisors were a huge help in finding an assisted living place for my mom in Valparaiso, Indiana. I had already picked a place, but with their help, I looked at more options and ended up choosing a facility I hadn’t heard of before. Keri Gotsch, my advisor, gave me tons of useful info, and after looking at all the details, we picked Rittenhouse, which turned out to be the best choice. Thanks to Senior Living Advisors and Keri!
