"Assisted Living Tour: Robin Run Review"
I visited Robin Run and found it nice. Memory care was on the second floor. The place was clean, but rooms were a bit small. We liked it, but chose another due to care level.

"Mixed Experience: Nice Rooms, Food Concerns"
I’d caution against moving here until the food improves. The washers and dryers need an upgrade. On the bright side, the rooms are nice, and the grounds are well-maintained.

"Disappointed with Level of Care for Advanced Husband"
The workers were nice, but my husband was too advanced for the others, so it didn't work out for us.

"Wonderful Community and Supportive Staff Make Robin Run Great"
My wife and I have lived at Robin Run Village for over 7 years, and we are very happy here. Life was good before, but it’s much better now. The best thing about RRV is the amazing community. It’s a caring and friendly place to be. We’ve faced some tough times, like losing a son and dealing with a long health crisis. We couldn’t have asked for a more supportive community of residents and staff. The therapy teams (physical and occupational) have been very helpful for us. There are fun activities, exciting events, and enjoyable outings. If you have a new interest, the staff will help you start something new. Many activities are led by residents. The facilities are well-maintained and always improving. Maintenance issues are fixed quickly. The new Assisted Living and Memory Care accommodations are excellent. The administration listens and responds to residents’ needs and concerns. We have a say through the Resident Council. Robin Run Village isn’t perfect, but we love living here.

"Robin Run Health Care: Clean, Caring, and Improved"
My husband has been at Robin Run Health Care for a year and a half. The center is very clean and doesn’t have any bad smells. The rooms are big and have windows that look out on the beautiful Robin Run grounds. The center gets high marks from the State Health Department because the staff are very careful about keeping good records. In the past, there were times when there weren’t enough nurses and aides, which caused problems with prompt care. But recently, a new administrator and a very caring and organized head nurse have made big improvements. Now, there are more nurses and aides, so they respond quickly and kindly to bedside lights, and they make sure all residents get to breakfast on time. I am very happy with the new management. Another good thing about Robin Run is that many residents visit the patients. Finally, there is a meeting every two months for family members of Health Care residents, led by an experienced group leader. They send a report of each meeting to the RR Director and the Health Care administrator, who then respond with appropriate actions.

"Robin Run: Friendly Neighbors and Great Amenities"
We feel so lucky to have found Robin Run Retirement Village. It’s even better than we imagined. Everyone is friendly, and the neighbors are always helpful. The dining room is nice, and the food is usually very good. We live in a Garden Home with plenty of space, including 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, an office, and a sunroom. Our dog loves the new dog park too!

"Overlooked and Neglected: A Painful Experience at Robin Run"
To accurately assess Robin Run, I stayed a few days there following a hospital transfer for rehabilitation. Right away things went awry. Despite promises of medication from my recruiter, none were given. I felt neglected. After being placed in a room at 10:30 am, they proceeded to take my vitals and promised lunch would be at 12:30. However, I found myself alone for hours with no food, medical attention, or medicine. By the time it was 1:30 pm, my patience was wearing thin. I reached out for help, but it took nearly 30 minutes for someone to respond. After meeting with the nurse and expressing my distress, I got a tentative promise of medication and was given lunch, which I finally ate at 2:30 pm. Then I was ignored for the rest of the day, still without my meds. The evening staff were notably impolite. The pain kept me awake all night. When confronted the next day, my initial nurse was seemingly surprised, she promptly brought me the much-needed pain medication. The following days were similar in the lack of care and chaotic scheduling, including meal timings and staff response. Even the higher-ups didn't seem interested in addressing my concerns. I was dismayed seeing how my Alzheimer 's-afflicted roommate was treated. I seldom received the attention I needed without pleading for it. To get around, I had to ask my son to bring my rollator from home. On the third night, I had an alarming encounter with an intrusive male visitor. No staff seemed concerned about correcting the situation, so I told him to leave the room myself. That incident was the final straw. After a sleepless night ensuring no one else invaded my room, I called my son to come pick me up. When I announced my departure, many tried to persuade me to stay with promises of change. I was skeptical. So, I left to ensure I could receive my medication, eat on time, and be safe in my home. My experience at Robin Run was that the patient's needs were not a priority. The facility was disorderly, and poorly staffed, and many of the workers were lazy and rude. The administration was not often present and this might be the reason for some of the problems I encountered. Despite a positive show for family and friends, I strongly suggest you scrutinize what goes on beneath the surface before trusting Robin Run with your loved ones.

"Poor care, considering relocation for mom due to staff issues."
My mom isn't getting the care she needs. I believe it's because of the new staff. I've had enough and will find a new place for her soon.

"Expensive Buy-In"
This community is wonderful, but it might not be right for Mom and Dad due to the expensive buy-in.

"Dissatisfied Reviewer Warns Against Robin Run Assisted Living"
My experience with Robin Run was truly awful! They did not provide the right amount of attention to someone I deeply care about, and I feel they caused more harm than good. I strongly advise against anyone considering this assisted living facility.

"Nice Place, But Location Didn't Fit"
This place looks really nice and it's super clean. The people who work there were really nice and knew a lot when we asked questions on our tour. It was almost our top choice, but we decided against it because of where it is.

"Caring Staff and Great Activities at Affordable Prices"
I feel at peace knowing my mom is being cared for so well. The nursing staff, housekeeping, and administration are all wonderful and go out of their way to make sure the residents feel comfortable and respected. They offer a lot of activities like movie night, and my mom even got to go out to lunch, which she hasn’t done in a long time. It made her really happy. One thing that impressed me was that the staff seems to actually like working there. Most of them have been there for about 10 years, so there’s not a lot of turnover. Pricing isn’t an issue. In fact, we got a nice surprise when we got the first bill. My mom had been evaluated at a higher level of care, but the community adjusted the bill down to the room rate, which helped a lot. I’ve since recommended this place to other people.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My folks are doing okay at this place, but we have some worries. It was tough getting them used to it at first. Some staff are better than others. The good ones are really nice and helpful. They could be quicker to respond, though. The food needs to get better. Sometimes, in the evenings, there aren’t enough staff. Overall, it’s still getting better for us here.
