"Poorly staffed rehab center with inadequate care and slow response time."
My mom went to this place for recovery after her surgery and blood transfusions. She was using a wheelchair because she was bleeding. It wasn't until she was able to call for help that she got back to the hospital. She tried their rehab program again a week later. They pretty much made her stay in bed all day, except for the two days we paid for privately. The staff wasn't enough. We ended up having to help her use the restroom. Even when she called for assistance, it took an hour for them to respond. They even tried to convince her to move in permanently. But, she's actually improving more now that she's at home.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
I am the person in charge for one of your residents, and I'm worried about how often the staff changes. Also, why does it require asking more than once for the business office to send me the bills for our Aunt's costs?

"Clean, friendly place with good food and affordable rates"
My friend's move to this community had some ups and downs. He tends to stay in his own world. The place is clean and well-kept. The staff knows what they’re doing, and the activities director is excellent. He enjoys the food, and because it's a small community, it's easy to meet other residents and staff. It's in a decent area and is affordable. Everything has been good, and I would recommend this place.

"Friendly Staff, Clean Facility, and Affordable Living"
My friend's move to this community has had some ups and downs. He tends to stay in his own world, but overall, the place is clean and well-kept. The staff really know their stuff, and the activities director is great. He enjoys the food, and since it’s a small community, it’s easy to get to know both residents and staff. It’s in a good neighborhood and affordable. Everything’s been good so far, and I’d recommend this place.

"Assessment of Assisted Living Center with Decent Food and Kind Staff"
Most of the staff are kind and pleasant. There's a bit of a smell in the corridor. Maybe a good carpet cleaning could fix it. I'm a fan of the food. I wish I wouldn't always have to raise my cup in the air, sometimes it's just too much trouble.

"Clean and Convenient Assisted Living with Helpful Staff"
This place was really nice. It was clean and had lots of things to help the people who live there. It's also closer to the city, which was important for me when choosing. The person in charge told me everything I needed to know and answered all my questions.

"Wonderful home for Mom"
Valley Oasis has been a true blessing for my mother and our family. Colleen and her caring staff made the move-in experience smooth, and the happiness of the residents made Mom feel comfortable right away. The home is pleasant, clean, well-organized, and has responsive medical attention if needed. Our family highly recommends it.

"Rosewalk: Safe, Kind Staff, but Food and Access Needs Improvement"
In general, Rosewalk isn't too bad. My mom feels safe there, which is important. However, the food isn't the best. They run out of meals and desserts fast, so you better be there early, about 4 pm, or else they'll be out of stuff. Plus, the food isn't always hot. It's the same with breakfast, especially on weekends—they sometimes run out of pastries and other stuff. Given what I pay, I'd expect a bit more than just plain toast. Another thing—after 7 pm they lock the front door. It's good for safety, sure, but it's a hassle when you're standing outside in the cold waiting for someone to let you in. I've seen elderly folks waiting for 10-15 minutes because the nurses from upstairs have to come down to open the door. Most of the staff are nice and look after the residents well, especially the LPN's and aides.
