"Waiting List for Small Medicaid-Certified Rooms at The Terrace"
I visited The Terrace, an assisted living facility that offers both Assisted Living and Long-Term Care options. The community is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by trees, a lake, and flocks of geese. Although they have Medicaid-certified rooms, they were already full, so my brother was placed on a waiting list without a definite availability date. The Medicaid-certified rooms are small and only semi-private.

"Failed Care and Deception at Solarbron Resulted In Tragedy"
Solarbron is seriously short-staffed. My mom developed a bad infection because her wound wasn't properly cared for there. The staff kept misleading us and told us she was doing fine and making rehab progress. But it turned out they were not truthful when it was too late and my mom had to be rushed to the hospital. Solarbron is not the best place if you really want somewhere that will provide quality care for your family member. I am sharing this experience so no one else has to suffer like we did. Losing a mother is the worst thing ever, especially when you know she still had life to live and there's no one that can replace her. So, if you're looking for long-term care or rehab, I wouldn't recommend Solarbron!

"Alarming Care Ignored: Mom Relocated Immediately"
Our mother hardly spent two days at this place before we were forced to move her out. Despite the short stay, she endured 2-3 falls and was discovered in unsanitary conditions - surrounded by urine and feces. We got a call about one of her falls during her first night, but believe it or not, the nurse was laughing. The place is under new management now and has completely transformed - and not for the better. Be wary and keep a close eye on your loved ones here.

"New Management Leads to Drop in Care at Assisted Living"
Don't think about leaving your relative here. All those old positive comments about this place? They just don't hold true anymore. There's been a change in who's running things and this isn't the same home it used to be. There's not much attention given to those who need a little more help. You or somebody else will have to keep a close eye on the staff to make sure your loved one gets their medicine on time and gets the basic things done like changing clothes and taking baths. I've heard this place was once a top-rated home, but not anymore. If your loved one doesn't need that much looking after, maybe this place would work out, but we're definitely not happy with it. We're planning to move our mom to a different home as soon as we can.
