"Feels like home, but staff inexperienced."

Liked it here, felt a bit like home. Smaller environment but nice. Our only concern was the staff. The two we spoke to had very little experience.

"StoryPoint Stands Out for Cleanliness and Friendliness"

When we checked out other assisted living facilities, we thought StoryPoint was cleaner and friendlier. Plus, we had some experience with their assisted living side.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"

We visited several places while researching for Mom. The facility we toured was clean and smelled nice, but it didn't quite match the feel we were looking for or offer the special care services we thought she might need. Overall, it's a pleasant place.

"Laundry Concerns in Assisted Living, Facility Otherwise Good"

We're having a big issue with the laundry service being disorganized. They've lost some of my mom's clothes and bedding. Despite that, the place itself is really nice and clean.

"Quality, purposeful Living"

My Aunt was financially limited at the time that we had been looking for a place for her. After touring the Hearth in 2015, we found that we loved the place. The entire facility made us comfortable, and it was even in her budget! She lived in assisted living, and moved to memory care for her last year. She received all of the care and attention that she needed, care that she couldn't receive at home. Instead of sitting at home alone for her last few years, we chose the Hearth, a place where she could continue to live and do what she loved. The community is very social, and the food is great! There is a variety of activities and some wonderful seasonal parties are hosted there. The move to memory care was carried out seamlessly by the staff. The staff is the best support system for their residents and families to give families ideas to make these transitions smooth. My Aunt passed away in the Hearth, and the staff supported us and grieved with me. Everything that they do is a demonstration of the love that they have for the people there.

"Review of The Hearth At Juday Creek"

1. I want a better response to the water problem when two pipes burst on the second floor near the sunroom. 2. The staff, especially the exercise employees, are helpful. 3. When I get home around [time removed], the hallways are dark, and I struggle to find my room. 4. I’ve been using a space heater in my apartment since.

"Mixed Opinions on The Hearth at Juday Creek"

The Hearth at Juday Creek is well-known for helping seniors in our area. Our caregivers could improve if they were paid more. The same goes for our food service workers. We often lose about two employees every month because they can find better pay elsewhere. I know it's not up to the local managers to decide wages, but maybe if they earned more and sold more units, they could afford to pay better. Also, the food could use some improvement.

"Nice Community, Good Choice"

I toured The Hearth at Juday Creek and some other places. This community was nice and seemed to be well-kept. The person who showed me around was friendly and gave good information. The deciding factor was the location, but otherwise, this place was a good choice.

"The Hearth of Juday Creek"

My sister and I visited The Heart of Juday Creek. We really liked the place because it’s designed for people with dementia. They have two separate areas—one for early-stage dementia and another for more advanced cases. When my mom moved in, she thought it was nice. The nurses and staff were great, but unfortunately, my mom passed away after just 4 days. They do require a first month’s rent and deposit, which is only partially refundable. I’m curious to see how they handle my mom’s situation.
