"Caring Staff and Enjoyable Activities"
My Uncle has changed a lot since moving in. Although he’s not super social, he enjoys the music and watching TV in the common room with others. The staff takes great care of him. I recommend it.

"Friendly Staff and Tasty Meals!"
The staff is great! They take good care of the residents. Housekeeping hasn’t wowed me, but that’s because my mom prefers not to have them clean. The meals are delicious—I even bring my kids along. I’d recommend it to others.

"Warm and Safe Community with Friendly Staff and Residents"
My new home is really friendly and safe. The people who work here and the other people who live here are very nice. They always remember my name and greet me with a smile. I can’t think of any other place I’d rather live.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
This place looks nice and tidy. It's great overall, I'd pick it for myself. Every time we went, people were nice, especially the front desk folks. My family put our loved one in Assisted Living, but he really needed Memory Care. We didn't all agree on this. Eventually, it wasn't up to me, and the place agreed to keep him in Assisted Living. He has Dementia and Alzheimer's, and his assessment said he needed Memory Care. I think the facility should've taken that more seriously, no matter what the family thought. He needed more help than he got in Assisted Living. Memory Care would've been better for him. Still, it's a good place, and I'd recommend it.

"Lack of Personal Care and Impact on Mobility During 3-Week Stay"
The staff was very nice and enjoyed the tasty food there. The main problem was that they didn't have enough people working. Her clothes were dirty on Friday and by Sunday, she was still wearing the same soiled garments. We weren't sure if her hair was washed during her three-week stay. Though she doesn't use a wheelchair at home, she needed one there due to the risk of falling. The therapist mentioned that she would only need it when alone. Yet, after her return home, she's finding it harder to walk than before. I doubt she was active during her stay.

"A Great Choice for Our Loved One's Care and Comfort"
Moving to The Hearth at Prestwick was a good decision for our loved one and for us. Taking care of her at home was getting really hard, and now we feel confident that she’s getting the care she needs. The place is clean and well-maintained, and the environment is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly, and they’re always ready to help with any questions or concerns. We’ve enjoyed meals there with her, and the food is really good. They offer a main meal, and if she doesn’t like it, she can choose something different from a menu. Her room is nice, and we helped decorate it with her own furniture, making it feel like home. There’s a nice courtyard in the back and chairs in the front where residents can exercise or relax and enjoy the fresh air. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living: Clean and Friendly, But Concerns"
I thought this place was cool when I visited. The people who worked there were super friendly and nice. The big boss was really great too, very nice and pro. The place was super clean and looked after. But when I walked around, I just didn't feel like my mom would be totally happy there.

"My Visit: Choosing Between Communities"
This community is big and looks nice. They let you have pets, and they offer fun activities and amenities. However, we ultimately preferred the other community.

"Tested for Temporary Stay, Not Enough Care"
We gave The Hearth at Prestwick a shot for a temporary stay for my mom. Had things gone smoothly, we would have moved my mom in here full time. But we thought there just weren't enough staff and were worried my mom wouldn't get the attention she needed. It just wasn't the right place for her.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Environment Make for a Pleasant Stay"
I met nice people at this place. My mom stayed here for a short break, and it was fine. She enjoyed the food, and they had activities every day. The place is clean, and the outside area is pretty. I think it’s a good choice for a short break.

"Warm and Friendly Assisted Living with Great Staff"
This place is really nice. The people who work here are super nice and friendly. The food looks good and tastes good too. They have stuff for my mom to do, but she's not really into it right now. I think other families would like this place too because it's really caring.

"Pressured to Sign Lease During Tour"
The place looked clean and tidy. It was undergoing some renovations during my visit. The people who worked there seemed nice. However, when I got there, I told the person showing the apartments that I was only just checking it out and wasn't ready to move my family member in just yet. But, the apartment tour guide kind of tried to push me to sign a lease, which I didn't really like.

"Didn't feel like a close-knit community!"
This place is pretty big with 3 floors. We wanted something that felt more like a family. I talked a lot with the director, and they were really friendly and helpful. I noticed that they had a lot of different activities to do.

"Mixed Bag: Some Good, Some Challenges"
They're doing okay. There's a lot of confusion about coordinating care, and they charge for extra assistance. Communication between staff and service providers needs improvement. The facility isn't very organized, and they're short-staffed. On the bright side, it's clean, and the food is good. Everyone is nice, but coordination and communication need work.

"Moderate Care at Hearth: Cleanliness, Activities, But Few Nurses"
The Hearth appears tidy and residents can form friendships and partake in fun activities. However, they fall short in terms of providing sufficient nursing staff, and nurses that genuinely care for your loved ones.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility for my mother"
Toured the facility with Sharon Hostetler. It was clean and nice, with rooms that residents furnished themselves. There were plenty of activities, but mostly for lower-functioning residents. Not enough staff for outings outside memory care area. Might not be the best fit for my mom. Location a bit far, but price is fair.

"Caring Staff and Good Food"
They have a lot of activities, but they could add a few more. The staff is excellent and really cares about the residents. The food is good, but it could use more variety. They should also use the local farmers market during certain seasons. Overall, we are happy with our experience at The Hearth and would recommend them to anyone.

"Mixed feelings about Assisted Living Facilities' sections"
I found the independent living section to be rather pleasant, with good smells and overall enjoyable atmosphere. The frequency of enjoyable activities and the happiness of the residents were notable. The bedrooms were pretty spacious and the dining area and snack room gave a warm, cozy feeling. Unfortunately, the memory care section didn't smell great and seemed less appealing in terms of decoration. The minimalistic vibe made it seem somewhat depressing, especially for those newly diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's. However, both sections did offer decent room sizes and nice bathrooms. Personally, I think my grandma would prefer the aesthetics of the independent living side, but it doesn't provide the specific support she needs.

"Decent Facility with Small Apartments and Circular Hallways"
It's a decent place. The hallways are designed in a circle. I checked out a two-bedroom apartment which was quite small. The kitchen area was also limited, but the bathrooms are large, equipped with walk-in showers. The staff is friendly and all the meals are provided. The memory care unit is located in a different wing on the first floor and those apartments are even smaller. They do, however, include a small seating area. The facility also offers in-house therapy and lots of activities.
