"Caregiver turnover, management issues. Not recommended for loved ones."
I think some of the caregivers were nice to my mom. But there were a lot of new people coming and going, especially at night. I didn't really like the bosses, and I felt like I had to be there a lot to help my mom myself. I wouldn't tell someone they should go there."

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
It’s been pretty nice here. We chose this place because of [name removed]. I wish they accepted Medicaid waivers, though. The food could use some improvement.

"Staff ensures cleanliness, seeks better communication; kind and supportive."
The staff always help my mom stay clean. More communication desired. Staff kind and helpful.

"Spacious Apartments and Convenient Location in Greenwood"
We picked Independent Village of Greenwood because their apartments are big and well-located. It would be good if they clean the carpets before new residents move in. Overall, we would suggest this place to others who are looking.

"Pleasant Place, Big Fancy Rooms, Basic Feel, No Medicaid"
The fancy rooms were big, but every room felt pretty plain, nearly like a hospital. The place overall was pleasant. But, sadly, they don't accept Medicaid.

"A Friendly Place with Good Food and Activities"
This place is pretty good. The food is alright and they give you some good options to choose from. The place is always clean and looks after well. The people who work here are nice and easy to talk to. They have things to do every day, which is cool. I think this place is worth checking out.

"Doing The Best They Can"
It's a work in progress here at our community. They're doing their best to take care of my mother-in-law, but we're facing some issues. She's currently in the assisted living part of the community. They believe she needs more memory care and want to move her to that section. We're okay with it, but I doubt she'll be satisfied with just a room containing a bed and bathroom. Overall, it's a nice, clean community with friendly people.

"Opinions on Assisted Living's Communication and Cleanliness Issues"
The folks working here are super friendly. The cleanliness, though, leaves a bit to be desired. More effort should be made to make patients and their families aware of rules and routines. Also, any changes in a patient's behavior should be noted and shared with the patient's doctor right away. I really think there should be a dedicated staff doctor to help patients as necessary. It would also be great to have some medical staff available just for answering questions, and the main doctor should always know about major issues.

The Hearth is a great place for our mom. Ever since she needed daily help, she's been taken care of well here. The staff is nice and always ready to assist. Mom loves many of them. Her apartment is cozy and always neat. It feels just like home! Thanks to everyone for being so caring and friendly to our mom!
