"Expensive Facility Falls Short on Food and TV Service"
This place costs a lot, but the food is barely okay. We’ve been frustrated because nothing has improved for a long time. Also, they reduced the TV channels for the elderly, which is sad. You’d expect better food and cable service for the high price. Our requests for changes seem to fall on deaf ears.

"Clean, but lacks resident interaction and activity encouragement."
We toured the community and found it very clean. But we didn't choose it because it didn't seem to encourage residents to be active. Another facility we visited was much better at engaging and interacting with the residents. It seemed like The Reserve is better for people who prefer being alone rather than interacting with others.

"Very clean, skilled care, but no openings now"
The place is really clean and has skilled care, but they don't have any openings right now. I'll talk about it with my family.

"Charming Cottages and Lovely Balconies at Assisted Living Facility"
I really liked the cottages. The way they use space is great, and the setup is cute. The apartments are okay. They're not as new and in good shape, but I love the balcony.

"Nice Facility, but Too Large and No Openings for Cottages"
We could be interested in a 3-bedroom cottage. We visited The Reserve at Hamilton Trace and met with a staff member on Friday. We were positively impressed and are definitely interested in this place. Unfortunately, they have no openings for cottages. We toured one of the 3-bedroom cottages (main floor with large finished basement) and it was way too big for our needs. It's in a great location with LA Fitness across the street and only a few miles to the Fishers YMCA. There is no meal plan. Restaurant-style dining appears reasonably priced and charges are added to the monthly statement. I asked about food costs and was told that apartment dwellers get $400 per month for meals, and they rarely exceed this amount.

"Inadequate Staff and Poor Care at Memory Facility"
If your family member needs Memory Care, don't choose this place. The staff isn't trained to handle active Alzheimer’s patients. They never smile, they don't interact with patients, they don't use any strategy for dealing with patients. They make patients sit in front of the nurses' desk all day so they can text and chat. If your loved one gets upset, all they do is call an ambulance to take them to the ER. They don't communicate between departments. You have to keep reminding them about your loved one's needs. Don't trust your family member's care to this place.

"Great Fit for Mom!"
My mom moved to this community, and it’s been a good change for her. She’s doing well, and my sister, who lives nearby, keeps me informed. Everything seems to be going smoothly, and we’re happy with the care they provide. There are lots of activities for the residents, and the management is understanding of my mom’s special needs. Overall, it’s a good fit for her.

"Comfortable and accommodating living community for elderly with special needs."
My mom moved to this place, and it's been great. I hear updates mostly from my sister who's nearby, as I'm in another state. So far, everything sounds good. We trust they're taking good care of her. Lots of activities for the folks here. The staff has been really helpful with my mom's special requirements. It suits her well. Hoping for more positivity ahead.
