"Friendly Staff and Happy Residents"
The staff and the residents are very friendly and welcoming. Sometimes they have trouble getting enough staff, but that seems to be because of how things are these days, not the facility's fault. Overall, I have been very pleased with my Dad's experience, and he seems pretty happy there.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
They didn't fix our room issues despite a week's notice. Poor Wi-Fi made using technology difficult; needs improvement. Food quality didn't meet standards; limited variety. Overpaid for unneeded care levels; seeking refund. Receptionist staff lacked knowledge and professionalism. Cleaning staff was excellent and communicative. Toxic carpet glue posed health hazard; off-gassing persisted. Activities were dull; outdoor space limited. Facility may be best in area, but understaffed and stagnant. Respite renters should have more flexible payment options.

"Staff friendly, but food, service, and costs are issues."
[name] was amazing from start to finish. She met with us last minute when dad urgently needed to move. She made me feel welcome. All the staff are very friendly and check on dad regularly. Right now, dad gets minimal care from the facility because of the cost of additional services like laundry and med management. I help him with those things. His biggest complaint about the food is the lack of taste, and he's mentioned the slow service. They're understaffed but doing their best. The activities are repetitive, which makes dad a little bored. I'm working with a local scout group to come up with new activities for the residents. The cost of living there is high, especially since they don't accept Medicaid. I'm grateful to Cedarhurst for informing me about VA benefits through Patriot Angels. We're in the final steps, hoping it will help with costs.

"From Cozy to Clinical: Assisted Living Changes"
The recent updates made the place look dull. The chandeliers and cozy carpet used to make it feel like home, but now it feels more like a facility.

"Good Staff But Needs Better Safety Rules"
The nurses here are really good, and I can't say anything bad about the doctors. The food tastes fine, I've had the breakfast and lunch. The place where we eat is nice and the person who cooks the food is friendly. The people who serve the food are super helpful. But, I don't think my family member got the care they needed. In general, they don't have the right rules set up to keep everyone safe.

"Cedarhurst Excels in Cleanliness, Staff, and Activities!"
We picked Cedarhurst because it’s clean, has flexible dining, and friendly staff. Dad loves his apartment, and the food variety is great. Activities are well-organized for everyone.

My mother is doing well here. The staff takes good care of her and meets her needs. I feel confident she's in good hands. The place is kept clean, and I'm happy with her move here. I would recommend this community to my family and friends.

"Skewed Female Decor, Mixed Living; Poor Food at The Waterford"
My Uncle stays at this place and I drop by quite frequently. It's typically more skewed towards women - be it the beauty parlor, the overall look, or mostly female staff. They've got some problems with serving food, especially at dinnertime. It surely could be better. The corridors aren't spacious enough and it seems they club residents who need help and those who can live independently. Doesn't make sense to me! Plus, residents who smoke tend to get in your way when you're leaving. I wouldn't suggest The Waterford for men who can live on their own.

"Helpful, friendly staff, with room for improvement in dining."
The staff at The Waterford at Edison Lakes are very friendly and helpful during tours, giving you all the information you need and answering any questions. I've had meals with my dad there a few times. The wait staff is nice, but sometimes they forget requests and can be slow. Overall, everything has been very good.

"Assisted Living: A Pleasant Place with Caring Staff and Activities"
This place is really nice, and the people who work here seem to really care about the residents. You can eat whenever you want, and they have lots of different foods to choose from. I had lunch there, and it was really good. They also have a calendar full of fun things to do, both inside and outside the building. Lots of happy people join in. The Front Desk was a bit busy, and I'm not sure how they make sure residents don't wander off. But overall, it seems like a great place to live.

"Good but Better for Independent Living"
It's a nice place, but it seems better suited for people who can live on their own. If you need help with certain things, I'd recommend looking at different places. But, the building itself is really pretty. Compared to other places we checked out, their rooms were easily the best.
