"Wouldn't Recommend Willow Lake Place for Care Assistance"

My family didn't have a good time at Willow Lake Place. If you need help, I'd say look somewhere else. They don't take good care of people.

"Facility Falls Short on Compassion and Comfort"

The facility started well but became more expensive. We chose it due to proximity, but lacked compassion. My loved one didn’t feel comfortable here.

"A Caring and Beautiful Community"

My wife has been here for 2.5 years, and we've had a positive experience. The memory care director and staff are professional and kind. The community is beautiful, and the staff feels like family.

"Avoid Willow Lake Place: it's untrustworthy and horrible."

I strongly advise against choosing Willow Lake Place, it was an awful ordeal and they're not reliable.

"Lacking Activity, Didn't Convince Loved One for Assisted Living"

The tour was good, but the place seemed dull. There weren't many people walking around, and the dining area was empty. It didn't convince my loved one to move there.

"Issues with Upkeep, Communication, and Staffing"

The place isn't well-maintained. They don't communicate well. There aren't enough staff members.

"Nice Community with Cozy Studios and Pet-Friendly Perks"

The community here is really nice, but the studio apartments are a bit small. On the bright side, they allow pets, which I really like. The food is decent it's not like eating out at a fancy restaurant, but it's pretty good.

"Weekend Care Subpar; Cost Increase Unpleasant Surprise"

The weekdays were fine, but the weekend care wasn't good. The place looked clean and small. We left because of the cost. They charged us one rate at first, then raised it when we moved in our loved one.

"High costs, poor care, and lack of communication at Willow Lake."

The people working here seemed nice, but it's too expensive for what you get. Our family member moved in there just needing some help, but in just three months they became bedridden, which really hurt us, especially money-wise. The care at Willow Lake Place was non-existent. They left our family member in bed for long periods, leading to serious bed sores, and no one ever talked to us about what was happening.

"Attentive Staff in Pricey Community"

Our one-week experience was positive. The staff genuinely tried to assist us. Although it was pricey, other nearby communities charge more without providing proper attention to residents.

"Conveniently located sister facility, great for respite care enjoyment"

We picked Willow Lake Place because it's related to another place we considered. The first choice had no room for temporary stays, so they suggested Willow Lake Place. It's easy for me to visit after work. I'd suggest it to others; my mom liked it a lot.

"Friendly staff, good food, nice rooms, and outdoor space"

They are very friendly. The staff care a lot about your loved ones. The food is tasty. The rooms are a good size. I would definitely recommend Willow Lake Place. They were happy to see us when we visited. They also have a nice outdoor area.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Experience"

This place feels too much like a nursing home with that smell. They only offer assisted living, and the apartments are really tiny.

"Inconsistent Staff, Poor Food Choices Disappoint Residents at Assisted Living"

The workers switch a lot. They are nice, but... The food is really bad! Enlivent corporation, the big boss, won't allow healthy choices. They keep giving us the same yucky, unhealthy meals again and again. The people living here are always grumbling, but nothing ever gets better.

"Great Care, Needs More Staff and Activities"

This is a great community! When I think about what makes it great, several things come to mind. First, the care and concern from the employees. The aides are truly kind, compassionate, and competent. They extend their care beyond just serving drinks with food. Second, the administrative staff have an open door policy and are open-minded when I have a concern. Third, I appreciate that my mom can go out on scenic drives to lunch. Sending an aide to help those who need extra assistance is very helpful. It wouldn’t be an honest review if I didn’t offer some suggestions. During meals and when getting residents up for breakfast and to bed, three aides are needed. When only two aides are working, residents have to wait too long to be helped. If someone needs help going to the bathroom during a meal, it makes it really difficult for the staff left in the dining room. Several residents also need help staying at a table or eating. If it was your mom or dad, you wouldn’t want them waiting to go to bed or to the bathroom, would you? My last suggestion is to offer more structured activities on the weekend. The residents get restless. A scenic drive would be nice. Thank you for all you do, and hopefully, this review will help you improve this great facility and make it even better.

"Assisted living facility improving, good care, room for growth."

I really like this place so far. The staff is learning about my mom and her needs, which is great. The people who work in the office are helpful, and they make it easy to talk to everyone there. I didn't give them 5 stars because not everyone is doing everything perfectly yet. They're not perfect, but they're trying hard. The staff are nice to my mom and they take good care of her. But, the people who work in the evenings seem tired and like they have too much to do. At night, they still bring in nurses from an agency, and I think it would be better if they had enough staff all the time. They have fun stuff for the residents to do, like Bible study, exercise classes, church, and times when my mom can go get her hair done. I've also been here for meals, and the food looks good and there's lots of different things to choose from, like salmon, chicken, and steak. I would tell other families to think about coming here.

"Shift in Ownership Calls for Caution"

My brother visited Willow Lake, which just switched owners. He didn't think it'd be wise to transfer our mom there given all the upheaval.

"A Perfect Fit: Safe and Friendly!"

We helped choose this beautifully clean and well-maintained community for my parents. The meals are well balanced, and they provide snacks and drinks between meals. There are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. My parents were able to decorate their room as they wanted. The staff is very friendly, and communication between staff and residents is good. I feel they are in a very safe environment.

"Layout and Size Disappointing!!"

This place didn't really wow me with its setup. To me, everything seemed too tiny and squished. The way they had everything like the bedrooms, places to hang out, and dining room arranged was She weird. Sadly, it just wasn't the suitable place for my mom.

""Decent Stop for Potential Transfers""

I paid a visit to this retirement home to possibly transfer here. The employees were really friendly, and the whole place was neat and well-kept. They provided a good variety of food options and had some enjoyable activities on offer. I recommend that families who are finding a place for their loved ones should check this facility out and gather information to determine if it meets their needs.' Headline:
