"Exceptional care and warmth made a big difference for us."

In 2015, our mother and mother-in-law, [name], had her second hip replacement surgery. She was admitted to Zionsville Meadows for rehabilitation. At 92, her recovery was slow, and eventually, her health declined. She passed away peacefully on March 18, 2018. We want to express our deep gratitude to the staff at Zionsville Meadows. Thanks to their great care, compassion, and professionalism, her last years were as comfortable as possible, filled with kindness and attention. For most of her time there, she was active and cheerful. Special thanks to Caplan [name], exercise coach [name], nurses [names], and coordinators. Their care made a big difference for [name] and us. We visited regularly and were always welcomed warmly by the staff, many of whom became friends. Zionsville Meadows felt like our second home. We always received updates on [name]'s health and situation. [Name] was a native Russian and struggled with English, but we were impressed by how the staff handled this issue. Their professionalism and dedication were outstanding. Again, our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Zionsville Meadows.

"Poor conditions and service at assisted living facility"

My wife and I visited this place where my father-in-law lives. I'm shocked by how dirty it is, the terrible smell, the food they serve, and how hard it is to talk to someone when there's a problem. I've seen positive reviews from employees, but they don't reflect the treatment residents like my father-in-law receive. Awful place.

"Dreadful Conditions, Poor Treatment, and Unacceptable Care"

When me and my wife visited the place where my father-in-law stays, we were horrified at the mess, the awful smell, the gross food, and how hard it was to get help when we needed it. I've seen good reviews, but they're likely from the staff, and they're not the ones being treated poorly like my father-in-law. This place is dreadful.

"A Good Tour!"

When I visited Zionsville Meadows, I found it nice. The community was clean and well-maintained. The tour guide knew their stuff and was friendly. We got all the info we needed. It’s a good place, but not the best for my mom.

"Great Staff and Amenities"

Theme answered all my questions. Loved the spacious 1-bedroom apartments with washer/drier. Costs fit my budget. But it's similar to my current condo living.

"Great staff, spacious units, similar to current living situation."

I met with two counselors, Mark and Margaret. They answered all my questions. I liked the 1 Bedroom and 1 Bedroom plus den apartments they're big, and it's cool that they have a washer/dryer in each. The costs are okay for me. But the thing is, moving there wouldn't be much different from where I live now in my own condo, cooking my own meals, or going out to eat (just without having to drive). It was my first visit, and it helped me see what's out there. Thanks for setting it up for me.

"Disappointing Service at Zionsville Meadows Assisted Living"

The tour was nice, but after moving in, the service wasn't as good as they promised. It seems like they have a problem keeping staff, and there aren't enough of them. Our experience wasn't great, so I wouldn't suggest Zionsville Meadows.

"Service and Staffing Issues at Zionsville Meadows"

The tour made the place look great, but once we moved in, the service didn't match up to their promises. There seem to be problems with staff leaving too often, and it feels like there just aren't enough people working there. Considering what we went through, I wouldn't suggest Zionsville Meadows to anyone.

"Assisted Living Evaluation: Zionsville Meadows, Zionsville, IN - Too Nurse-Like"

The place feels heavily like a nursing home.

"Mixed Experience at Zionsville Meadows"

Zionsville Meadows is a nice place to live. The nurses and household services are excellent. However, the residents keep to themselves and aren’t very friendly. the supervisors, are great. Unfortunately, the meals aren’t very good. Overall, I think it will be a good place to live, although I’m having trouble getting my room organized.

"Zionsville Meadows: A Friendly Place with Room for Improvement"

Zionsville Meadows is a nice place to live. They have excellent nurses and household services. The residents are friendly, though sometimes they seem lost in their own world. Lisa and Margaret are excellent supervisors. However, the meals are not very good. Overall, I think it will be a great place to live. I am having some trouble getting my room straightened out though.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"

The facility and staff are nice, but it's a bit expensive for what we wanted. The location is good, but it feels a bit like a nursing home. It might be challenging for someone seeking more independence.

"Positive Changes at Zionsville Meadows Assisted Living Facility!"

Zionsville Meadows has improved a lot. Since new leaders took over, I notice residents being treated better. I appreciate that it offers all services, so my friend won't have to move elsewhere. Plus, it's in a lovely area. I'm happy to see these good changes!

"Disappointed in Zionsville Meadows - privacy invasion and bad food service"

I recently switched from a different senior living place in the US to Zionsville Meadows due to previous lousy experiences. Granted, it's slightly better here, but it's still awful! I had to wait on a bus from my old nursing home because my new room wasn't prepared. After several hours, my room still wasn't ready, so we started filling out the necessary paperwork. I was shocked and disgusted when an employee rifled through my belongings without my consent to find the documents they needed from me. Their only response was an apology. The food service is TERRIBLE! I hate feeling trapped, but it's like I've landed in yet another miserable place.

"Disappointing Experience at Zionsville Meadows: Bad Service, Worse Privacy"

I recently switched senior living facilities from an unsatisfactory one to Zionsville Meadows. Zionsville is an improvement but still leaves a lot to be desired. I spent time waiting on the bus from my last place, as my room wasn't prepared. After waiting a few hours, they finally started processing paperwork, even though my room was still unready. What really upset me was a staff member going through my private items looking for needed papers without asking for my consent. They simply apologized for it. The food service here is dreadful.. I can't stand feeling trapped here just like in my previous terrible place.

"Review: Extremely poor service, care, and management."

This place really stinks! If you're someone with a ton of patience and you're okay with awful service, care, and management, then this is your spot! It's just a sorry excuse for a home even if it's in a nice community!

"Terribly Managed Assisted Living Facility in Great Neighborhood"

If you're someone with a lot of patience and don't mind low-quality service, attention, and administration, then this facility is right up your alley! It's a shame that such a place even exists in a nice neighborhood!

"Unbearable conditions and care at Zionsville Meadows"

We had to clean Mom's room ourselves when she moved into Zionsville Meadows since it was really dirty. Also, they didn't take good care of her during her short stay. We hurriedly shifted her to another place.

"Needs Improvement: Assisted Living Facility Review"

This place is kinda old. The houses for independent living need fixing up. They don't have enough people to do maintenance, so when something breaks, it takes forever to get fixed. The staff in charge aren't around much for people who can mostly take care of themselves. They change managers a lot. It's cheap, but they really need to do better with both the buildings and the service.

"Affordable Living Option in Need of Serious Upgrades"

This community isn't new and their self-sufficient housing, known as "garden homes", definitely need a lot of fixing up and refurbishing. The maintenance department is pretty tiny, and they don't respond well or quickly to the residents' repair requirements. The administration staff isn't around when the independent living folks need them. There's also been a lot of changes to who manages the place. The price, though, is fair, but I think the service and the buildings could use a lot of work.

"Decent facility, but not convinced it suits Mom or Dad"

It was decent, but I honestly didn't believe it was the right place for Mom and I wasn't completely convinced for Dad either." .

"Headline: Unstructured, Lacked Knowledge and Required Maintenance"

It appeared really unstructured. The nursing manager on duty during the weekend escorted me, although she was clueless about the available features in the Independent Living, she only had knowledge about the assisted living section. The apartments they displayed needed some fixing up.

"Comprehensive Amenities, Modern Facilities: Assisted Living Review"

This place has everything you need, like garden homes and pet deposits. They have garages, and they take care of all maintenance. They have a 24-hour emergency system and include most bills except phone and cable. There's transport, social stuff, and a clubhouse. You can use the beauty shop, dining room, and wellness program. If you need extra help, they have assisted living options with meals, utilities, housekeeping, laundry, and transport included. There are also grab bars in the showers, a library with internet, and even a theater room. They offer rehab, memory care, nursing services, and other types of care. The place is super clean, the staff is nice, and the area is safe. You can even bring a fridge and microwave to your room. They have fitness programs for a fee and personal care based on what you need. You can leave within 90 days if you don't like it, otherwise, it's a one-year lease. Overall, it's a really impressive place.

"Impressed by visit. Likely my choice."

Visited with the director and liked what I saw. This is most likely the place I'll choose.
