"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living: Staffing Issues, Cleanliness Concerns"
This place has trouble keeping good workers. The building's mostly clean, but sometimes I catch a strong pee smell near the laundry room. I kinda wish we'd moved my folks here sooner when they could do more on their own.

"Review of Assisted Living at Brookdale Derby, Derby, KS"
The staff is a little short-handed. The food has gotten better over the past six months with more variety. The exercises are very helpful, and administration is improving. Maintenance stays on top of things!

"Brookdale Prioritizes Profit Over Patient Care"
Don't trust Brookdale with dementia or Alzheimer's patients. They're ill-prepared to offer needed care. Focused more on 'curing' patients instead of taking care of them, they've been this way since management switched up about a couple of years ago. The Certified Medical Assistants have a high turnover rate too. It's clear Brookdale is more bothered about cashing in than caring for your family member. Sure, there are a handful of pretty awesome staff members, but they're exceptions to the rule.

"Brookdale Fails in Dementia/Alzheimer's Care"
Don't Bring Your Alzheimer's Afflicted Loved Ones Here. This place lacks the necessary training to look after them, especially those in the early stages of their condition. They'd rather try to "fix" them instead of genuinely giving them proper care. Since the management changed two years ago, the nursing aides keep coming and going. Brookdale seems to care more about profit than about your loved ones. Sure, there are few excellent workers here, but they're not the norm.
