"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Cleanliness and Staff Friendliness"
My mom noticed the place wasn't very clean right away. I didn't think the staff were super friendly or outgoing. They were nice, but not too much.

"Unwelcoming Tour at a Nice Facility"
Our visit to Brookdale Rosehill wasn’t the best. We showed up when it was super busy, which is on us. But it felt like they didn’t really want us there. The place is pretty big, and they gave us a wheelchair for my family member to use during our look around, but it was missing the footrests. That meant she had to keep her legs up the whole time to keep them from scraping the ground. It seemed like they weren’t eager for new residents—they just did the tour because it’s part of their job. The facility itself was impressive, but it felt like they weren’t looking for new people to join.

"Family Satisfied with Mom's Adjusting to Assisted Living Care"
It's been okay. The place is nice. They've helped and taken good care of Mom. No place is perfect, but we're fine with it. It took Mom some time, but she's starting to settle in."

"Brookdale Fails to Organize Essential At-Home Therapy"
We were promised that at-home health therapy was arranged and we would be contacted soon. We waited for several days and decided to reach out to the home health agency, but they had no information about my husband's care. I called Brookdale and was told they were making arrangements and would call back shortly. This cycle of waiting and following up with Brookdale continued. We've been at home for two whole weeks without any therapy. After another call to Brookdale, I was informed that Home Health would visit us on Friday. However, when Home Health contacted me today, they were shocked that we've gone for two weeks without therapy. They didn't know anything about a scheduled visit on Friday. Now, they're doing their best to fix this situation. I must say that the nursing staff did their job well, but the issues have been with the administrative side.

This community is worth considering. My loved one seems alright here. It's a good place to consider. They enjoy the food variety and treats.

"Not Recommended for Families Seeking Assisted Living"
Before moving your loved one to Brookdale Rosehill, be cautious. We weren't impressed with how they treat residents. The administrative staff didn't respond to calls or emails, which affected communication. Not recommended for those looking.

"Assisted Living Facility Delivers Well-Rounded Experience Amidst Covid-19"
The facility promises a lot but delivers less than expected. The rooms and community layout are spacious and well-designed. My mom enjoys the food provided. There's an outdoor area for residents to enjoy. They've done a great job keeping us informed during Covid-19.

"Great care and value in a safe, comfortable setting"
My mom has lived here for over 2 years in the skilled nursing section, and we've never had any problems. We moved her from another nursing home in Lenexa where she got bed sores twice. Here, she has a large private room that costs much less than the semi-private room she had before. There haven't been any flu or norovirus outbreaks in her section, unlike her previous place. She even has a patio with flowers and grass right outside her window. I know several friends and neighbors whose parents were also very happy here.

"Brookdale Rosehill: Profits Over Provision of Quality Care"
Brookdale Rosehill is not what it used to be. Apparently, it's under new company leadership. My relative was happy with the care he got there in the past, but his last trip was a totally different experience. They didn't pay enough attention to his needs and the quality of nursing care varied a lot. He kept saying "this place has changed." He's not there anymore. We made sure to get him out of Brookdale within the first day and a half of his being there. Brookdale is messy. Their leadership isn't great. Making money seems to be more important to them than kindness and good nursing. Don't let your loved ones live here.

""Terrible Care and Misdiagnosis at Assisted Living Facility""
I wouldn't recommend this facility even for a sick pet. My mom received terrible care. On two occasions, the night nurse roughly put her in a chair. They took a blood sample but left the band meant to tighten her arm on, causing discomfort. Response times for call lights are painfully long, and communication with the family is non-existent. With the exception of the rehab staff and nurse practitioner who were okay, the rest were not up to standard. A day after leaving the facility, my mom had to return to the ER due to issues they failed to properly address, treating her for unrelated conditions. She experienced noticeable improvement in the ER in less than three hours.

"Dad's Getting Better in This Place"
My dad was getting help for his hip, which made it hard for him to do much. But now, thanks to the therapy here, he can walk with a walker. There are things to do here, which is nice. I see that he's happier talking to other people who live here. Since he moved in, it's been easier for me, even though it's pricey. This place is really good for people with memory problems. They take good care of them and do a lot to make sure everything's right.

"Impressive Facility with Great Rehab and Practice Equipment"
We visited this place and were very impressed. It was really nice—though pricey—but worth it. I was especially impressed with their physical therapy and rehab facilities. They even have a special restaurant booth and a car to practice getting in and out.

"A Neglected Facility With Lack Of Staff, Bad Smell"
Didn't really enjoy this place. Wasn't able to check out one area. Saw no staff around. Main nurse and her helper were just chatting in the office. No people were talking with each other. It reminded me of an old-time nursing home. Could smell some pee. Don't want to put my dad here.

The cost is way too high for us, even with VA benefits.
