"Review: Untidy facility; Overpriced services disappoints visitors"
Visited a living center for my mom. Right at the entrance, the place is jam-packed with folks just sat near the door. The ceilings showed proof of leaks. The center itself was alright. A major mess and zero organization could be seen in the shared kitchen and eating areas on every floor. They just crammed tons of chairs and random stuff against a wall. There was no effort put in to beautify the place even a bit. The actual apartment was pretty sweet. They charge you $325 every month for meals even if you eat just once a day or don't eat at all. The hair salon/barber shop is only open for one day and they charge crazy prices especially considering this place is for seniors. They could pay less for the same service down the street. Something didn't feel quite right. Overall, left me bummed.

"Assisted Living Facility Impresses Overall, Lacks Activities Director"
I was really impressed with everything overall, but they didn't have any activities at all when my dad was there. They should definitely hire an activities director to organize things like bingo, card games, movie nights, and arts and crafts. There are so many activities the residents would enjoy. They could even have a Casino day using Monopoly money. They especially need to have holiday-themed get-togethers.

"Rampant Theft and Lack of Activities at This Facility"
It seems like there's some stealing going on at this place. My mom keeps losing her cash, jewelry, and gift cards from her room. This isn't just a one-off thing, it's happened at least three times. There's not a lot to do here, either. They don't offer enough activities or outings to keep the elderly folks engaged with the community.

"Suspected Theft and Scarcity of Activities"
It seems like there's some stealing going on here. My mom's money, jewelry, and gift cards have been taken from her room. This didn't just happen once, but at least three times. There aren't a lot of activities. They don't provide enough of them or enough trips to help the elderly folks interact with the community.

"Residents Inconvenienced by Carpet Replacement"
They had a problem with too much salt in the food, but they held a meeting to fix it. I gave them four stars because they're replacing the hallway carpet, which inconvenienced me when I had to leave work early to be with my 84-year-old mother. Even when I dropped her off at 4 PM, they hadn't finished replacing the carpet in her section.

I gave them four stars because they're upgrading the hallway carpet, which meant residents had to leave for the day. It was hard for me to leave work early to be with my 84-year-old mom. The community doesn't allow cats; website needs updating. Activities need more variety; more than just armchair exercises. Limited residents can go to Walmart, need to sign up. Tablecloths missing during meal times; website photos misleading. Need regular bookmobile visits; prioritize activities. Shower curtains need replacing more often. Some residents aggressive, staff address issues swiftly. Inappropriate behavior from some male residents; women's safety unclear.

We are for sure interested in this place for assisted living. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and well-maintained. It seems like a great option for our loved one.
