"Shawnee Parc Disappoints; Promised Services Not Provided"
My brother stayed at Shawnee Parc for 12 days and I'm honestly clueless about what they helped him with over there. I seriously think they just put him in a room and let him be. He was supposed to get physical, occupational and speech therapy but there were no signs of any of those services. The staff at the front desk didn't seem knowledgeable and were occasionally impolite. We got zero information about his care progress. Even though a doctor was supposed to meet him daily, we never saw one. Oddly, I was billed for days he wasn't there and even future days. When he was let go, we didn't need to sign anything and it felt like we could've just walked out unnoticed. I strongly advise against Shawnee Parc for anyone wanting proper care for their loved ones, as I'm frustrated at the unfulfilled promises of care. It's daunting to trust such facilities with your loved ones, hoping they'll provide necessary care, and I can say, Shawnee Parc utterly failed in that duty.

"Terrible Service, Unattended Calls, Delayed Meal Cleanup"
My wife just stayed at this place and the service stunk. They didn't answer her calls and they left breakfast and lunch trays in her room.

"Worst Healthcare Experience; Unskilled Staff and Lacking Pain Management"
I wouldn't even let my stay here. This has got to be the most unskilled, indifferent facility I've ever come across. I've only been here for a mere five hours, and I'm totally appalled by the absence of attention. I was transferred here after my back surgery. The last time I got my painkillers was in the afternoon. I've been up and weeping from the intense pain, but no painkillers yet. At the hospital, they gave me painkillers every two hours.

"Inadequate Care and Billing Confusion at Healthcare Resort"
I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. The treatment they offer is just okay and their billing department has no idea what they are doing. You can easily find a better place in Kansas. They told me over the phone four times that I had to pay nothing because Medicare and my supplementary insurance covered my bills and that I had no balance left. But a few weeks later, I received a bill. So I went to the healthcare center and the billing lady told me to rip it up, insisting I owed nothing. Then, just before Christmas, I get a letter from the Healthcare Resort saying they're handing me over to a collection agency for failing to pay, despite being told five times that I owe nothing. This place really doesn't know what they're doing.

"Unprofessional Facility Neglects Doctor’s Instructions: Nurse Recommends Caution"
This place isn't safe or good at all. My mom has had to go back there two times in less than a month. Both times, they didn't do what the doctors said to when she was leaving, and we had to go back to the hospital. I'm a nurse, so trust me when I say you should have a copy of what your doctor tells you to do and the medicines you should take before you go in there. You should also check with the Kansas state government to see if other people have complained about this place, or any place, that you're thinking of using.

"Dad's Health Worsens from Mismanaged Care at Center"
The place looks nice and the nurses seem great. My dad went there to recover after being in the hospital. He's got some health problems that need regular checking of his blood pressure and his liquids. But the doctor there didn't do what the hospital said and changed how much medicine and water my dad was getting. After just 3 days, my dad had to go to the emergency room because of these changes. I quickly got all his stuff and he's going to get better somewhere else.
