"Beautiful but too costly"
Our family visited The Windsor of Lawrence and it looked amazing, but it was just too pricey for our loved one to live there.

"Friendly Staff, Needs More Nurses and 24/7 Care"
The place is really neat and tidy. The people working here are mostly nice, but there aren’t enough of them, which is a problem a lot of places have. Also, they don’t have a registered nurse here all the time.

My mom likes Windsor. Needs more food choices. Great activities and caring staff.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
We're glad Mom's happy and everyone's friendly. But, we worry sometimes. Staff care and communication need improvement.

"Great Covid Safety Measures"
Before choosing this assisted living facility, talk to the staff and take a tour. I wish I had asked more questions about medication management and medical care. They’ve tried to communicate with me about my loved one’s care, but I wish there was more information. It’s a difficult situation right now. They’re decent at getting back to me, although another family member disagrees. On the positive side, they were great about vaccinations and cleanliness, keeping Covid out. They’ve had only one case, and they were transparent about it.

"Caring Community Struggles with Organization and Pandemic"
This assisted living place is full of kind and loving people, but it’s a bit messy. They’re also finding it tough to deal with the pandemic. Some of the folks living here have gotten COVID. The folks running the place aren’t quite on top of things.

"Warm, caring staff make Windsor a great choice for families"
The Windsor has a warm, family-like vibe with a comfy, country feel. Since it's a small community, the staff knows you and your family members by name. I really appreciate how the staff supported my mother during her later stages of Alzheimer's Disease. When her memory was failing, the Windsor staff took great care of her, making her final months better than we could at home.
