Travanse Living at Olathe

"Clean environment, maintenance response needs improvement, convenient location near home."
The place feels and smells clean, which I really like. But they need to fix things faster when something breaks. I also like that it's so close to our house.

"Helpful staff, good location, and activities make this facility worth it."
The place is pretty expensive but has lots of care options and activities. It worked well for my mother in her last months. We chose this community because of its location, the caring staff, and the support they offered.

"Caring staff and convenient location; recommended for others."
The staff here is very caring, which was our main reason for choosing this place, being close by. I'd suggest it to others.

"Spacious Living with Responsive Service at Anthology of Olathe"
Anthology of Olathe is like other places. Just like kids in a school cafeteria - not everyone loves the food, but that's just personal taste and they can't please everyone. My loved one's apartment is big and bigger than the previous facility. The room has a microwave, basic cable, a separate living room from the bedroom, and lots of cabinet space. The community offers rides to appointments and stores, but we haven't tried that service yet. When it comes to talking to the community and our family - when I've contacted them, they have been responsive and I've had no issue with getting an answer. But I don't get in touch with them first unless I call or email ahead of time. Overall, I would suggest Anthology to others

"Mixed Experience at Easter Event, Highlights Friendly Atmosphere"
We attended their Easter event, which was enjoyable. Everyone was really friendly, and our loved ones appear content. Our only issue is with the care services—keeping up and following through.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Vintage Charm"
Anthology is a lovely place. It's like a big, beautiful old hotel. The staff were friendly, but it was our second choice.

"Not Ideal for Independence or Budget"
The facility didn't give my parents enough freedom, and it wasn't affordable.

"Care Lacking, Costs Rising at Assisted Living"
Make sure you check everything yourself because you can’t count on them to handle it. The regular workers are okay, but the bosses? Not so much. They didn’t tell us about doctor visits ahead of time, so we missed them. When we talked to them about it, they just said “oops, sorry” and that they’ll try harder next time. And now, they’re telling us we have to pay more money. Honestly, I’m not too pleased with how things are going.

"Needs More Staff and Better Care"
We're very unhappy with this place because the care isn't up to par. There aren't enough workers for all the people living here. Cleanliness is hit or miss around here. The food menu definitely could use some work. Plus, they're not keeping tabs on medication correctly. We wouldn't suggest other families consider using this facility.

"Mixed Feelings About Traverse Living Memory Care Unit"
We really liked Traverse Living when we visited. It used to be a hotel but now it's a memory care unit. The rooms have motion detectors, so staff can tell if residents get up at night. However, because it was a hotel, the hallways are long, and I worried my mother might get lost. Overall, I was impressed, but it didn't seem like the best fit for my mother.
