"Mixed Experience: High Costs, Missed Meds, but Clean and Friendly"
Arcadian is the third facility my mom has stayed in. Cons: 1. Too expensive. a month for a small room. 2. Food is the worst of all the facilities. 3. No nurse. They’ve been trying to fill a nurse's position since April. 4. Missed medications. About once a week, mom hasn’t gotten her meds. Unacceptable. 5. Front desk screening. Nobody is at the front desk about half the time. Screening isn't being done. Three COVID outbreaks since April. 6. Management is inexperienced. This is probably causing the current problems. 7. Provisions inventory. The facility is supposed to provide certain items, but they are often out. Pros: 1. Cleanliness. 2. Staff. Friendly, caring, and helpful for the most part. 3. Activities. They put a lot of time into activities. Maybe too much. Overall grade: B-

"Smaller Facility with Limited Medical Services Not Ideal for Us"
We had a good tour at Arcadian Coves. The place was small, and Mom wanted something larger. They also couldn't give her the medical care she needed. It just wasn't what we were looking for.

"Warm Welcome and Peace of Mind"
Arcadian Cove really made my mom feel welcome. Their kindness and safety measures during COVID put my mind at ease. Plus, I can easily connect with my mom.

Sadly, Arcadian Cove didn't meet our needs. They couldn't check my dad's blood pressure, which he needed occasionally. The staff was nice, and the place was clean.

"Mixed Experience: Great Care Staff, Unhelpful Receptionist"
I visit often since my family member lives here. The lady at the front desk, [name removed], isn't helpful. She says she'll find out answers but often doesn't. Other residents complain too. It's odd she's in that role since she doesn't seem trained for it. I've seen her on her phone and playing games instead of working. However, the care staff are amazing and really take care of the residents. The housekeepers also do a fantastic job maintaining the facility. Thank you.

My dad has been living at this place for a few years, and I couldn't be happier with his home. The staff always treat him like family, which I really appreciate. I think Arcadian Cove is fantastic in every way; I couldn’t ask for anything better. They truly care with love and compassion!

Nightly checks aren't done; no one answers night phone calls. Rooms seem unclean; carpets need regular cleaning or replacement. Directors aren't visible or accessible. Food options are limited; often unavailable or poorly prepared.

"Lack of Service and Cleanliness at Arcadian Cove"
Arcadian Cove doesn't seem to properly check on their residents at night and it's hard to get a hold of anyone on the phone after dark. The cleanliness standards could be improved; rooms don't seem to be cleaned frequently and the carpets in both the halls and rooms need better maintenance. The people in charge are not around when needed. The food service could also use some work. They often advertise food items that aren't really available and only serve one choice out of the two supposed options for meals. Plus, the food isn't prepared well. For instance, a peanut butter & jelly sandwich sometimes comes without the jelly.

"Friendly and Caring Staff!"
Arcadian Cove is amazing! The staff are super friendly, caring, and nice. My loved one was really nervous about moving, but they went out of their way to make her feel at home. She seems to be having a great time here!
