"Needs More Outdoor Activities"
My parents chose this place because it's near family, but there isn't much communication with the agency. I'd recommend it, though I wish there were more outdoor activities.

"Mixed Experience with Barrington of Fort Thomas"
The nurse sometimes forgets to tell us when to go to the hospital, so our loved one has gone unnecessarily a few times. They also don't always stick to the medication schedule. Our loved one doesn't join activities, so we can't say much about that. Overall, we're satisfied because dealing with my mother can be tough. Based on our experience, we'd recommend Barrington of Fort Thomas to other families.

"Mixed Experience: Friendly Staff but High Cost and Dementia Challenges"
My parents enjoyed Barrington. The staff is very friendly. The high cost stressed us. Dad's dementia made staying difficult. Despite our situation, we liked it overall.

"Great Place for Assisted Living!"
My parents are really happy at the Barrington. They settled in easily and enjoy being there. The people who work there are friendly. It's super clean and always feels cheerful. The food is excellent too. I think this is a wonderful option for families needing long-term care or assisted living for their loved ones.

"Positive Experience During Challenging Times"
My family member stayed at this community during COVID-19. I think this is a nice place with lots of benefits. The food was brought right to their room. They had a nice one bedroom apartment. Some staff were really good at their jobs. The Head Nurse was one of them, she did a great job. [name removed] was also good to work with.

"Assisted Living Falls Short for Dad"
When we visited Barrington of Fort Thomas, I quickly saw it wasn't right for my dad. The building was okay, and the staff were friendly, but it didn't feel like a good fit for him.

"Unresponsive Assisted Living Facility Missed Scheduled Call Back"
I'm writing this review not because I visited, but because they didn't follow through. I called them up, told them when I could come over. The guy said he would call back the next day to make it official. It's been over two weeks and I haven't heard a thing. All the other places I've contacted got back to me right away by either phone or email.

"Friendly staff, clean facility, flexible services, no deposit required"
The staff was very friendly, and the facility was very clean. Administration gave us a free lunch with lots of choices. Mom and I liked lunch, but the portions were small. However, when I asked for more chips, they gave us more. The facility was clean. Kevin, the administrator, was very good at answering our questions and concerns. Mom and I were impressed with the flexible services and costs. We loved the apartment sizes, and they had washers and dryers, unlike other places we visited. Prices were similar to other places we saw. The grounds and facility were well-kept. However, mom wants to stay on the ground floor to avoid stairs and elevators, so her apartment choices are limited. Mom and I were happy that we didn’t need to put down a deposit or have a financial review to be considered for residency.

"Good Care, Limited Attention"
In the end, my brother needed more personalized nursing care than what Barrington of Fort Thomas could offer. While their services are good, they just couldn't provide the extra attention he required.
