"Caring Community with Fantastic Caregivers"
The rooms are great, and the caregivers are fantastic. Everyone in the community looks out for each other.

"Unsatisfied with Brookdale Murray, recommends cheaper, cleaner alternative."
When searching for an assisted living home, I encourage you to be thorough and check out other options. My folks' time at Brookdale Murray left much to be desired. the meals were poor and the apartments lacked the necessary cleanliness. We switched them over to community name, which is terrific. The food here is excellent and the place is sparkling clean. Plus, we are saving a lot of money for a superior facility. On whole, I wouldn't suggest Brookdale Murray as a choice.

"Assisted Living Facility Fails in Food Service Despite Renovations"
To be fair, this assisted living facility's kitchen was under renovation, so we patiently waited. We also instructed the staff about the dietary preferences of our family member - she'll be content with just toast and coffee. But disappointingly, even a month after the kitchen's renovation, they neglected to cater to her preferences. She even discovered cardboard in her soup recently. Other residents also express dissatisfaction with the meals and sometimes, they even refuse to eat. The menu looks wonderful, but it's deceptive - it's attractive on the surface only. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff is friendly and does a good job keeping our family member's surroundings clean.

"Inconsistent Billing Practices"
The assisted living facility had roomy spaces, but the staff’s inconsistency caused issues. Despite our 30-day notice, they attempted to bill us for 90 days.

"Brookdale Murray: A Wonderful Place to Live"
Brookdale Murray is an amazing place. We are super happy. I couldn't ask for anything better. He has a nice room. The facility is beautiful. We had him at Spring Creek before, and that place was just terrible. They keep everything clean here. The dining room has tables with nice tablecloths. The dining staff serves you, and he loves that. If he doesn't feel like coming down, they bring him takeout. I can eat with him and order from the menu, and they have a private dining room if we need it. There are lots of activities. They will take him all over town if he wants. They bring him coffee throughout the day. Everyone I've met at Brookdale is happy to live there. It's the nicest place he's ever lived. It's very safe. He hasn't fallen once since being here. He fell several times at Spring Creek. I am very happy.

"Great care with responsive staff and accommodating service"
The facility and staff were very responsive. Their activity calendar was fuller compared to other places, and we saw more residents participating and hanging out in the common areas. Breakfast was the best meal of the day, though the food was typical for these places, like what you find in schools with lots of prepackaged and precooked items. Overall, the experience was really good. The director and staff were open and honest about enrolling my mom. They went out of their way to work with us on a deal. The facility wasn’t overly decorated, unlike another one we visited that was too much. We really liked the open room where people could play games and the good library with books to check out. They were very accommodating with my mom's needs. For example, they fixed the bathroom door, which was too small for her chair by widening the door and installing a new frame. They said they had planned to do this anyway, but having my mom there seemed to speed things up.
