"Caring Staff and Turnover Concerns"
My aunt switched from Dominion to Everlan (same company/campus, but now in Independent living). At Dominion, I liked the smaller size and caring staff. The Activity director there helped my aunt overcome depression. The contracted Speech therapist and physical/occupational therapist made a big difference in her quality of life. Evaluating meals was tricky due to her special soft diet, but they accommodated her needs. The only concern at both places has been staff turnover (director, asst director).

"Convenient location, responsive with nice staff, spacious rooms, active programs."
It's near my house. Concerns addressed, sometimes not quickly enough. Nice staff. Room is spacious. Offers daily activities, physical therapy, meals to room, outings.

"Mixed Feelings on Dominion Senior Living of Louisville"
We visited Dominion Senior Living of Louisville. It's a nice place, but not cozy as expected. They focus more on assisted living rather than memory care.

"Caring Staff, Room for Improvement, Overall Happy with Aunt's Care"
The people here have all been very nice and they've helped my aunt with her specific needs. Her diet has been a bit of a challenge, but we're working on it together. I wish there were more snacks and food options that she could eat. The speech therapist they have here is really great! She's awesome! My aunt hasn't felt like joining in on activities, but that's her choice as she adjusts to all the changes. I think there are just the right amount of activities available for her. One thing I've noticed is that there isn't always someone at the front desk. As someone who visits often, I'm okay with it, but I'm not sure everyone would be. Yes, we would definitely recommend this place to other families. Overall, I'm very happy with everything.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Staffing and Services"
The facility uses different nursing staff and is often short-staffed. Residents don't get enough attention due to low staff-to-resident ratio. Sometimes, the chef is absent, and the facility orders pizza, which isn't suitable for everyone. Scheduled services like showers, laundry, and bedding changes are often missed. Additionally, there's only one automatic door, limiting outdoor access for residents.

"Mixed Experience at New Assisted Living Facility"
My loved one had a pleasant stay at this beautiful, new facility. The staff were nice but overworked due to low ratios. Some staff turnover and average food. Limited activities for residents.

"Excellent Memory Care Facilities with Dedicated Activities Coordinator"
We chose Dominion Senior Living due to its location, price, staff, activities, and environment. The memory care unit has its own activities coordinator who has been amazing. She leads morning exercises, crafts, baking, and holiday parties. I would recommend Dominion to anyone needing memory care.

"Dominion Facility's Neglectful Behaviour Leads to Tragedy"
Bad treatment at Dominion Assisted Living, my mother contracted Covid" I moved my mom into Dominion on an undisclosed date and it was a terrible experience. They mixed up assisted living residents with those in memory care. Regrettably, my mom got Covid while there. They tell the family members that they're not allowed to visit, yet the staff members who probably brought the virus into the facility could be in direct contact. They informed me about my mother's contraction of the virus eight hours later. Following this, my mother was admitted to a hospital and died there - alone and with me being able only to view her through a window. After her demise and the removal of her belongings from Dominion, I realized that the apartment was unclean. For three months I waited for Dominion to contact me. They gave nothing - not even a card, a flower, or a phone call to the funeral home for my mom. So, I wrote a review on the Dominion's website with the hope of a response. Their reply was to completely remove all reviews. There's just no admission of responsibility from Dominion whatsoever.

"Relative's Care at DSL Northfield Falls Short, Issues Unaddressed"
My relative at DSL Northfield isn't receiving proper care. She had diarrhea but wasn't seen by a doctor. Her wheelchair, walker, and other belongings are missing. Her hair looks like a child cut it. Her toenails are too long, and her fingernails are dirty. The room smells like urine every time I visit. Staff and the Director of Nursing are rude when I ask about her care. I will complain to the corporate office. I wasn't informed about a broken chair in her room. I wrote a review shortly after she was admitted, but her care has declined since I couldn't observe.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Experience"
While we were signing the papers, the boss kept looking at her phone. It was annoying, but really, that’s the only bad thing we had to say. She was super kind and got where we were coming from. Our family member fell down a lot there, though. It felt like they should’ve kept a better eye on her to stop that. The guy who fixes things was awesome; he helped get our family member settled in. He was friendly and made us feel at home, which we were thankful for. When our family member died, we couldn’t go in to collect her stuff because of the virus. The workers packed up her things. They did it well and put it all outside for us to clean. But, something got taken, and we still don’t know what happened to it.

"Budget-Friendly Assisted Living with Cozy Rooms"
The rooms are kinda small, and the ceilings are low. But if you're worried about money, the price is good.
