"Assisted Living Facility Evicts Resident Despite Clear Communication"
Don’t trust everything they say before moving in. We explained my brother’s condition, but when he arrived, they sent a certified eviction letter. Un-Christian behavior.

"Mixed Experience with Memory Care at Reasonable Assisted Living Facility"
We checked out a few places and this one had the best price. Some staff were really great. But for memory care, not so good. Our room didn't have a proper bed, just a recliner. It kinda worked for us, but sharing with someone who had a bed wasn't ideal. They're priced okay and willing to negotiate. I might suggest them, but not for memory care unless they improve.

"Caring Memory Care at Inspirations of Florence"
We rated it 4 out of 5 because management changes too often. But our loved one in memory care receives caring support. The daily structure is nice at Inspirations of Florence—an awesome community.

"Friendly Staff and Engaging Activities"
The staff has been friendly, and my loved one receives great care in the memory unit. I recommend it. They offer arts and crafts, beach ball kick, word games, movies, and spa day (nails). Activities are listed on the board in the activity area.

"Desolate Facility Fails to Meet Basic Standards and Care Needs"
This place is awful. Their equipment doesn't work and even the front door is broken. The food is terrible and there just isn't enough staff to look after everyone. There are no licensed nurses to provide care. Staff without medical licenses are handling medication. Plus, they charge way too much for everything. The area around the facility isn’t safe because there are homeless people living nearby. Don't take your family there, they can't keep staff, because so many of them leave. They even cancel activities for residents and aren't paying their suppliers.

"Nice staffers, but understaffed and dishonest facility"
The staff handling my family member were super nice. The room and the entire facility were top-notch. But, huge issues made our experience awful. My loved one required a lot of attention, and there was this one incident they really messed up. The meals were pretty blah. They constantly didn't have enough personnel to take care of the 15 folks with Dementia/Alzheimer's. Plus, they weren't straight with us about the number of caregivers they have. We thought there would be two caregivers all the time.

"Grace Management Neglects Residents and Employees in Assisted Living"
The increased neglect in this assisted living facility is evident. They don't even have enough employees to look after our loved ones, I know because I recently moved my relative out from there. Their staff are treated poorly too. Even after spending loads of money, the food is completely unappetizing and there's zero help from the employees. Plus, the managers can't be bothered to learn people's names or step out of their offices to interact with families or assist their workers. It's clear Grace Management is motivated solely by profit. They aren't considering what's best for the people here. It'd be best to arrange private care at home or consider a different facility. You might be wondering, where's the proof? Well, showing up after hours would be enough. The phone service is nonexistent and typically there are only 3 caregivers looking after more than 80 residents. Since Grace Management took over and appointed a new Executive Director, things have taken a turn for the worse. The community that was once vibrant and enjoyable is no more. Notice how all the good reviews are now only for Elmcroft, doesn't that indicate something?

"Quality of Care Declined After Ownership Change"
Since they changed ownership, it seems like they only care about making money. They've filled the memory care unit to capacity but have lost staff. More residents and fewer staff have made the quality of care worse, and I can see the difference in my mother. She always wants to go home with me now, and she didn’t feel that way before. Right after they filled up, there was a big COVID outbreak, and they locked down for 2 weeks.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
The residents looked cheerful and involved. However, they lacked nurses and an Executive Director.

"Hopeful Changes at Inspirations of Florence Assisted Living"
We chose Inspirations of Florence because it was more affordable than other places we considered. The apartment size in assisted living was great. However, when he moved to memory care, the room was smaller, and he had to share it with another resident. There was only space for one bed, so he slept in a recliner. He needed more attention than they could provide due to his borderline care status. The change in ownership brings hope for improvements.

"Luxurious Assisted Living with Friendly Staff"
Elmcroft of Florence was like a five-star hotel. The tour we took was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the environment was very inviting. We chose another place because it fit our budget better.

"Nice place but could be improved"
My mother-in-law has only been at Elmcroft for about a month, so it's hard for me to be detailed in this review. However, I can say that the facility is very clean, the rooms are spacious, she is very engaged in activities, and the staff is very friendly. One thing I wish Elmcroft would provide is a secure place for her to enjoy the nice weather outside. She isn't allowed to sit outside because she might wander off. Seeing other people outside frustrates her when she's told she can't join them. There is a small courtyard in the memory care unit where she can walk around outside, but it depresses her because the residents there are near the end of their lives. Seeing that makes her sad. Other facilities have lovely courtyards with flower beds and gazebos where residents can sit comfortably. I think she would really enjoy something like that. I am seriously considering moving her because of this.

"Great community in a convenient location"
My mom recently moved here, and things are going well. Since my aunt is also a resident, it helped her adjust. She enjoys chatting with the friendly staff and having one-on-one time with them. They offer various activities, including guest performers, although her hearing problems prevent her from fully enjoying them. The sitting volleyball is a good exercise option. Her only complaint is about the food—the dining room is on the first floor, and she’s on the second, so sometimes it arrives cold. We chose this community because it’s in an area she’s familiar with, close to the post office and pharmacy.

"Good Care in a Short Stay"
My uncle stayed here for 4 days. The staff did a great job taking care of him. They also looked after his two big cats and got him ready for his doctor appointments. I don't have other places to compare it to, but for the short time he was there, it was a 4-star experience. Thanks to A Place For Mom for helping us when we needed it.

"Great Care for My Mom"
It has been over a month since my mom moved in, and she is getting better. The care is good here, and now she can get up and down from her wheelchair and even push herself around in it. It was a little tough in the beginning to get comfortable, but the staff helped her adjust. The staff respond every time I ask for help.

"Avoid This Facility: Terrible Treatment of Loved Ones!"
This place is awful! Don't let their friendly staff and fancy-looking building fool you on your first visit. If you send your loved one here, do it only if you don't care about how they are treated and the kind of help they get. Instead, I suggest you look elsewhere. I hold a Master's degree in Business Management and Administration, and I plan to report this facility to all relevant bodies for investigation. They need to be held accountable for their day-to-day operations and punishment to those who give a 30-day moving-out notice. Please find another place, don't make the same mistake I made. I'm so let down by the quality of care my grandmother has received in the short 2.5 weeks she has been here. In fact, we started looking for a better place just after 3 days of her stay here.

"Mixed Experience at Elmcroft Assisted Living: A Parent's Review"
My parent's been at Elmcroft for a bit. The place looks nice, but sometimes it's hard to get their unit cleaned even after asking multiple times. They say there are daily activities, but they don't always happen when they're supposed to. The food isn't always healthy; they serve a lot of salty soups, which isn't good for someone with heart issues. When the nursing director talks to you about health concerns, they don't give clear information, just "that's what the staff said. If your parent is pretty independent, it might be okay, but if they need help, make sure you get everything written down before committing. Sometimes they offer services that make you wonder if they're getting paid for it. Check everything carefully before deciding.

"Great Place with Good Parking"
Check it out. It’s a really good place. I don’t have any trouble finding parking at this community. I noticed my loved one might have some of someone else’s stuff, so I told the staff about it. They seem to be on top of things.

"Egregious Elmcroft: Facility Disappoints and Breeds Distrust"
Problematic Assisted Living: Elmcroft Fails Expectations" 'Elmcroft's service is awful. They never did anything they promised during the sales pitch. We found ourselves begging just to get my dad's room cleaned. I even had to insist they stop serving him meals with greens because of his coumadin medication. There's a lot more I could say, but here's the worst part...when the workers think they're alone, they talk about wanting to quit because things are so bad. That's a red flag right there...And on top of everything, my dad mentioned he's been misplacing things...I'm starting to think they were stolen.

"Modern and Caring Community"
This place is really modern, from the look and feel to the computer system and the health and fitness of the residents. They don't have skilled nursing, but they offer good care for this kind of community. They try to keep the residents active and moving as long as they want to join in. I would definitely recommend Elmcroft to anyone.

"Unprepared for Appointment, Not a Good Fit for Us"
The place wasn't ready when we arrived. They didn't even know we had an appointment. We didn't get to meet with the director. But honestly, it doesn't matter because it's not the right place for us. My mom said it felt like a funeral home. I think it's a nice place, but I wouldn't want to live there. It's easy to get lost, even if you don't have memory problems.

"Elmcroft: A Top Choice for Alzheimer’s Care"
I liked Elmcroft a lot. It’s nice, especially the separate wing for Alzheimer’s patients. Having them together in their own area with a dining room and common space was great. The knowledgeable director spent time talking with me. Elmcroft is at the top of my list.
