"Avoid: Poor Care for Alzheimer's Patients with High Cost"
If your family member has Alzheimer's and can't communicate, definitely avoid this place. The care they give is terrible. The cost is dollars a month, but they still fail to provide the right care. They're understaffed and don't provide prescribed medications on time or sometimes even at all. This happened to my mom and I have proof.

"Assisted Living Struggles with Nighttime Safety and Staffing Concerns"
My dad lived in assisted living for three years. At night, there were often problems with emergency response. The dining room and food quality were getting better since a new chef arrived. But there were always issues with staffing. It was particularly bad during the night shift in long-term care. Our family felt so uneasy about overnight safety that we had to either stay overnight ourselves or hire a home health aide. We didn't feel like it was worth the money.

"Facility Struggles with Staffing and Food Quality"
My mom stayed at Madonna Manor for about 10 months. During that time, the place always seemed short-staffed, relying heavily on aides. The food was terrible, and despite our complaints, nothing changed. The facility has potential, but it needs better management. .

"Madonna Manor: Many Serious Issues"
Madonna Manor's quality has plummeted in the last two years. Constant changes in staff. Dirty carpets in the hallways. Sometimes you can smell something strange all the way to the entrance. Sometimes staff doesn't even come, making residents unsafe without their medications and necessary care. The helpers who do come to work are very nice - that's the only good thing. Managers keep changing and the ones who stay don't do anything and don't care about complaints. The owner CHI needs to make big changes to the building and care because a lot of residents and their families are really angry.

"Needs Improvement at Madonna Manor"
When my family member first moved into Madonna Manor a few years ago, the assisted living area looked nice and clean. But now, things have changed. The place needs better leadership and lots of repairs. Caregivers and other staff are quitting or not showing up for work. Residents are at risk, missing meals, and not getting their medications. The whole facility isn't being taken care of. Maintenance workers have quit, and the weekly apartment cleaning is terrible. Plus, the carpet smells bad and is really dirty. It's sad to say this, but until they fix these problems (no more excuses!), I'd caution families about choosing Madonna Manor for their loved ones. The owner needs to make urgent improvements because the community's opinion of Madonna Manor is going downhill.

In 2+ years, services declined, staffing issues persist. Seniors deserve better.

"Disappointed with Care at Madonna Manor Assisted Living"
My mom's been at Madonna Manor for five years. Like all nursing homes, they have good and bad caregivers. Overall, we're mostly satisfied with the services. But, we've had to hire our own caregiver twice a week to help with bathing because Madonna Manor couldn't do it. We just wanted them to encourage her to shower twice a week and let us know if she refuses. However, we kept finding mom in dirty gowns without any calls saying she refused to shower. She's gone weeks without bathing, yet we're still charged for services she doesn't get. I can't help because of my own health issues. Now that we have our own caregiver coming twice weekly, I know she'll be bathed. I don't want to speak badly about Madonna Manor, but we're very disappointed with how they're caring for my mom. I'd move her, but she knows people there and doesn't want to go anywhere else.

"Mixed Experience at Madonna Manor"
My loved one lives at Madonna Manor, and overall, I think they take good care of him. Sometimes the staff seems a bit unsure about where his things are or how to assist him, but the admissions lady has been easy to work with. The place is clean and conveniently located. Overall, it's an alright place.

"Mixed Feelings at Madonna Manor"
My family member stays at Madonna Manor. Overall, they take good care of him. But sometimes, the staff seems a bit unsure. They can't always find his stuff or help him up properly. However, the lady who handled admissions was great. She's easy to work with and really helpful. The place is clean and nearby. Overall, it's okay.
