"Beautiful Facility, But Avoidant Leadership Ignores Problems"
Looking at all the reviews, it made me wonder how something dealing with people's health and aging could seem so "perfect." Growing up in a healthcare-focused family, I know that everyone messes up sometimes. But when a company doesn't recognize these mistakes, it looks like they can't or won't take responsibility. Sure, the building itself is stunning. But this is less impressive when there's no hot water for days on end. The fancy looks make you feel good until your loved one's room isn't cleaned for days, or their special kidney disease diet is ignored. At that point, you understand that just because something looks good, doesn't mean it is. All places have problems. The problem at Magnolia Springs is that when issues come up, they're not recognized or dealt with properly. Instead of discussing it and fixing the problem, the leaders there tend to dodge the issue.

"Magnolia Springs Assisted Living"
Magnolia Springs Assisted Living is very responsive and takes responsibility. The staff genuinely cares, which is different from her previous residence where they just pretended. However, they do have issues with hearing aids, both in charging them and putting them in correctly. There are also problems with giving the right drugs when anything new comes in that they didn't order. Despite these challenges, out of the three facilities she's been to in Lexington, Magnolia Springs is the best. I would recommend Magnolia Springs to others.
