"Medication Mishandling and Inadequate Supervision"
There was a problem with his medication. Some of it went missing, and they said he had opened the locked door, taken it out, and flushed it. He couldn’t open that door. The container was too big to flush. The staff said they would move his medicine to a safe place. This did not happen. When asked, they said they left it there to "watch" him. The staff didn’t know he needed to be watched. They didn’t make sure he swallowed his medication, so he didn’t take it as directed. Without it, he could get aggressive, which he did, and he had to be moved. Once moved and given his medication consistently, he didn’t show those behaviors.

"Great care, clean, few activities, good food, best price."
We stayed for 3 weeks, and during that short time, they were very loving and caring. The inside was very clean, though the patio could have been cleaner. They had the best pricing we found. There weren't any other men here. They only had activities twice a week. I'd rate the food about a four; there were a few things he didn't like, but they were very accommodating. They were very willing to work with his health problems, which most other places weren't.

"Better Place Found"
The tour was great, but we found a better place for our family.

"Location Concerns Overshadowed Otherwise Good Experience"
Our family visited the facility in person. The tour was okay. It could have been a good backup choice, but we preferred somewhere closer, not in Lexington, as it was a bit far for us. The tour was okay, but the location in Lexington wasn't what we were looking for.

"Lovely facility but one-room preference and needs mismatch."
The place is really nice with a beautiful building, but we only wanted a room with a bathroom connected to it so there wouldn't be any confusion and we wouldn't have to walk too far. The staff were really good at telling us things, and the place is very safe and easy to get to, plus it's not too expensive. But we didn't think it was right for what we needed.
