"Great place for Mom!"
My mom lives at Holly Court Assisted Living and Memory Care, and she's doing well. I'd suggest it to others.

"Better Care for Mom at Holly Court!"
I used to have my mom in another community, but Holly Court seems better equipped to handle her dementia. The caregivers are well-trained and actively engage with her in common areas. They’re focused on preventing falls and ensuring she uses her walker. Unlike the previous community, we don’t need round-the-clock sitters

"Assisted Living: Mixed Feelings"
This place was pretty okay, I guess. The staff were nice and the food was alright, but some things could have been better. The rooms were kind of small and the activities weren't that exciting. It's not the worst place, but it's not the best either.

"Small Rooms, Strange Layout: Okay Tour at Holly Court Assisted Living"
Our family visited Holly Court Assisted Living. The tour was alright, not great. The cost was similar to what we're used to paying. But the rooms were a bit small, and the layout was odd.

"Unbearable Conditions at Assisted Living Facility, Like Horror Show"
If you want an experience right out of a horror TV show, this place fits the bill. I couldn't believe the shocking conditions. I felt terrible for the people who live there. I had to wait around for nearly 3 minutes after I arrived before someone asked if I needed help, not exactly the welcome you expect when you've come for a tour - that was red flag number one. After getting into the building, which had a grimy keypad and door, we walked by the kitchen. It was 3 pm with dinner soon, but the dirty lunch dishes, still with lingering food, were heaped on carts in the hallway. Red flag number two. Walking around, we saw that all of the bedroom doors were covered in filth. Dust and muddy marks were around the doorknobs, and the lower part of the door was layered in grit. Red flag number three. I shudder to even think about the kind of germs crawling around this place. As for daily activities, the residents were cramped in a tiny room with a TV, a room that was too hot and reeked of sweat. The room they showed us for a layout guide belonged to a resident, and it was musty, messy, and generally nasty. Definitely more red flags there. I couldn't get out of there fast enough!

"Caring Staff!"
I'm really happy with how things are going for my mom since she moved into this community. The staff are all kind and caring, making sure she's comfortable in her new home. She enjoys the meals and activities with other residents. Overall, we're pleased and would recommend it.

"Great place, but could use more staff during evenings."
I really like Amber Terrace. The people who work there are nice, and the building is clean. They take good care of the residents. My only worry is that sometimes there aren't enough staff, especially in the evenings and at night.
