"Questionable upkeep in dated facility wouldn't recommend for others."
The place is old, and the people who own it didn't keep it up well. From what we saw while we were there, I wouldn't tell anyone to go to Bloom at Bossier.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The prices are going up, which is disappointing. The place is usually clean, but sometimes there are unpleasant smells. Some staff members are friendlier than others. Residents only get baths once a week, which doesn’t feel like enough. Waiting times for help can be long. Meals aren’t great, especially on weekends. Overall, activities are enjoyable.

"Bloom Shines with Attentive Staff and Activities"
The people in charge are friendly and easy to talk to. I haven’t had any problems with bills or complaints. They offer lots of activities, and I’ve become friends with the activities coordinator. Bloom impressed me the most out of all the places I visited—it’s close by, and the staff and directors are great. They’re quick to fix things like lightbulbs or AC issues. Even during Covid, they’ve kept essential services going. That says a lot.

The rooms need more cleaning, and communication could improve. Still, I'd recommend this community to others.

"Cluttered Chaos: Assisted Living Needs Cleanup!"
The place is a mess! There are old pallets, garbage bags, and rotten pots stacked up. The appliances are ancient (heating/air units, fridge, etc.), and discarded items are just thrown behind the storage units. You can see all of this from the patio homes in the back wing. It's like an invitation for rats, snakes, and strays. They really need to clean up.

"Attentive staff, clean place, enjoyable activities"
My mom is doing well and likes the community. The staff are attentive and on time. They keep the place in good shape and clean. She is a very picky eater but overall enjoys the meals. Mom isn't usually very social, but she seems to enjoy some of the activities they offer.

"Kitchen Needs Improvement, Staff Is Great!"
I really like the staff here they treat my mom like family. She enjoys playing bingo and going out with other residents for movies. However, the kitchen needs improvement. They're often short-staffed and the meals lack variety.

"Safe, caring community with great staff and activities"
My mother is doing well since moving here. Everything's worked out nicely, and I'm happy with it. The community is nice, and I feel good knowing she's safe and in a good place. The staff is wonderful and takes good care of her. She enjoys the activities and is very pleased with the meals. They recently had a Christmas party for everyone, and the food was great. It's a great place, and I would recommend it.
