The Russ Place in Ruston, Louisiana is a great place. The grounds are lovely, the staff is very helpful, and the dining is excellent. There are nurses on duty from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm every day, and an activity director is here Monday through Friday.

Russ Place has changed, and not for the better, as many residents and visitors lament. Despite attempts to present a positive image, underlying issues persist. Complaints go unanswered, overshadowed by concerns about rising costs. Services suffer from lack of funding and staff. Residents are promised change but left disillusioned. The only saving grace is the dedicated staff. While a new director offers hope, real change requires corporate intervention. Without it, Russ Place risks fading into obscurity, a fate no one wishes upon it.
