""Frightening First Night at Assisted Living Causes Family Distress""
The first night my Dad was in memory care at this place, he somehow managed to get out. We found him soaked, chilly and bruised a way down the road. His cell phone was missing, too. When I paid him a visit, it was so obvious he was extremely dehydrated and even sick with an infection. The worst part? No one had told me he was not doing well. When I mentioned this, the helper simply said he hadn't eaten in a while.

"Understaffed Assisted Living with Broken Promises"
The staff talked a really, really good game, but they couldn’t follow through with their promises. We’re still waiting for our refund after our loved one’s passing, and they keep giving us the runaround, saying they’ve sent it off, but it’s been weeks. There are a lot of inconsistencies. The housekeeping wasn’t the best; when we’d come to visit, our loved one’s belongings were caked with dust. The staff did their best, and our loved one received the care she absolutely needed, but sometimes when she asked for water or help, the staff would just walk right on by. We do know they’re understaffed, like all other nursing homes. .

"Billing Dispute Leads to Unpleasant Experience at Assisted Living"
I paid for the first month and deposit, signed a contract in December. But, there was no apartment available then, not even at Christmas. When January rolled around, we got a bill for a portion of the month, even though my loved one hadn't moved in. I called multiple times with no response and had to go into the office to talk. Finally, I got to speak with the Business Manager, who said the bill was part of the contract. I didn't get it, but she didn't want to discuss it further. She was rude and unprofessional. Since then, every time I visit my loved one, upper management acts cold and unwelcoming. But, the direct care staff are fantastic and make things easier for both us and my loved one. We're grateful for their hard work.

"Location Too Far, Otherwise Great Community"
We visited the place in person with our family. It looked nice, but it was too far for us.

"Needs Improvement in Key Areas"
The food is so-so. The cleanliness is just okay. The workers need more training.

"Staffing Shortages Impact Service Quality; Overall Positive Recommendation"
The community doesn't have enough workers, especially at night and on weekends. I would suggest this place to others based on my time here.

"Inconsistent Cleanliness, Declining Food Quality; Friendly Staff"
My rooms don't get cleaned regularly. Food quality is getting worse. Most staff are nice and friendly.

"Improved communication needed, but staff supportive during pandemic."
The staff at the assisted living facility have been really nice and helpful to our family, especially during this past year with the pandemic. The boss has always been there and helped with any problems we had. One thing we mentioned to the boss that would help is better communication within the staff.
