"Disappointing Experience at Sunrise of Metairie"
I stayed at Sunrise of Metairie. I wouldn't tell friends.

"Insightful Tour of Memory Care at Sunrise Assisted Living"
Today I met with someone for a tour of the Memory Care unit at Sunrise. [name removed] knows a lot about how Sunrise runs. I asked about staff and their qualifications, personal services, costs, and activities. It was nice to see how things operate at Sunrise. We also toured the Memory Care unit. It was well organized with different room layouts. [name removed] took extra time to show me all the rooms, which was very useful.

"Memory Care Needs Improvement, Nice Living Area Overall"
The living area is nice. Memory Care feels like an afterthought. It’s on the 3rd floor with only a patio for outside seating.

"Pleasant community"
Sunrise of Metairie is a really pleasant place. It's in a convenient location. Unfortunately, my loved one didn't want to share a room, and we couldn't afford a private room here.

"Clean and welcoming community, but missed tour opportunity."
I visited this place to check it out for my parents' care. It looked really clean and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't take a tour this time. I recommend families to visit and see if it suits their loved one's care needs.

"Careful Evaluation Needed for Sunrise Facility!"
Sunrise might look nice at first glance. For the first week that my Father in law was there, everything seemed fine and the staff was kind. But not much time passed before my dad ended up in the hospital, so he's not spent much time there. I'd advise anyone considering this place to check it out closely.

"Cozy atmosphere but waitlist delayed move, friendly residents."
We wanted this place first, but they were full when we needed to move. It felt like a cozy home, which she liked. And the people who lived there seemed nice when we visited.

Too costly, not enough corridors for walking

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short of Expectations"
This place is near my home, but when they evaluated my mom, they refused to admit her, claiming they lacked the means to ensure her safety. I adored the facility; it's aesthetically pleasing with lovely surroundings and a festive ambiance, including a grand piano. However, their straightforward refusal to accept my mom left me feeling disappointed.

"Pricey but Lovely Assisted Living with Full Care Availability"
This place is really nice. When you go in, it feels like it's fancier than others, but it costs more. It's in a busy area, with lots of traffic nearby. It has a pretty porch and looks like a Victorian house. The staff is nice, and they can take care of you completely. They even have a special area for people who need extra help later on, so you wouldn't have to move.
