"Enlivant's Poor Billing Practices Wreck Assisted Living Experience"
Despite Local Effort, Corporate Mismanagement Mars Assisted Living Experience" The local management is as kind and helpful as possible, but let's be real - Enlivant, the company that owns the facility, is horrible. We set up automatic payments when we moved my dad in, taking a portion from his Social Security, and the rest from my personal account. I put the numerous COVID lockdowns aside, overlooked the staffing shortages, and endured the long-winded process of requesting basic services. This July, I discovered fraudulent transactions in my account. My bank made me close that account and open a new one. This is when I noticed that Enlivant hadn't withdrawn a single payment since the previous March. I made countless attempts to reach out to their corporate office to update my account information. However, the three different contact numbers given to me by the facility weren't even operational! I was about to go abroad for a couple of weeks so I had to leave the issue unresolved since the local facility had no authorization to change the account information on their end. When I came back, I found that Enlivant had marked the months of April, May, and June as insufficient funds. They discontinued all automatic payments, allowing the account to fall even further behind!

"Inadequate Diabetic Support at Assisted Living Facility"
The major issue was that they provided no support for diabetics, which was a big problem for us. They didn't have any meals suitable for a diabetic diet on their menus. Her health deteriorated constantly while living there. When I attempted to talk to them, nobody would take any responsibility, everyone just shifted blame. It was a complete mess, I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. She was in the poorest state I've ever seen.

"Poor Management and Facilities, High Staff Turnover and Bad Food"
The director doesn't know what they're doing. The staff needs more training. The place is really old and needs to be fixed up. The food is really bad. People are leaving all the time. The company only cares about making money.

"Best choice for my mom’s care and comfort at Terrebonne Place"
Three months ago, I had to accept that my mom couldn’t live alone in her home of 60 years. After a month of looking into different places, I picked Terrebonne Place Assisted Living. It was a tough choice, but it turned out to be the best one. This community creates a positive and caring atmosphere because of their amazing staff, who work hard to make sure the residents feel welcomed and at home. The friendly and loving staff is available 24/7 through an emergency call system, which really eases my worries. At Terrebonne Place, the beautiful grounds, well-designed apartments, and a wide range of daily activities make me feel confident that my mom is comfortable in her new home.

"Assisted Living Facility Receives Praise with Room for Improvement"
Terrebonne Place is kept very clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and communicates effectively. More variety in activities beyond bingo and improved food quality are needed. The director is responsive to concerns, which is appreciated. Overall, with these improvements, Terrebonne Place would be highly recommended.

"Mixed Service Quality"
If you or your loved one can manage on your own and are in good health, this place might suit you. But if you have health problems, don't expect a nurse to be available during emergencies—they won't be. There's no emergency medical plan except to call 911. The management focuses on assessing residents' needs and charging accordingly. However, providing the promised high-level services is hit or miss due to poorly trained and unmotivated staff.
