"Assisted Living Outshines Memory Care"
We visited The Verandah Retirement Community while looking for assisted living for our loved one. The facility was nice, and the tour provided helpful information. Based on our experience, it seems better suited for assisted living than memory care.

"Comfortable Assisted Living with Limited Outdoor Options"
The Verandah at Graywood Lake is a nice place. My mom looks happy there. The rooms are a good size. The food is tasty. They have a small outdoor area for residents. Overall, it has been a good experience.

"Assisted Living Facility Offers Amenities, Concerns About Long-Term Care"
Great facility, bit far from town, with good amenities and activities. Concerned about 'age in place' promise vs. potential move to nursing home due to financial reasons.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
Awesome place, a bit distant from town—pros and cons. Lots of fun amenities and activities. Concerning that it's an 'age in place' facility, yet they mentioned moving to a nursing home if funds run out for Private Care.

"Missed Dining Opportunity at The Verandah"
The staff at The Verandah was nice when we visited. But I wish they let families buy meals and dine with their loved ones. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed in the dining room.

"Dining Options Need Improvement"
The people at The Verandah were nice when we visited. But I was disappointed because they don't let families buy meals to eat with their loved ones. They wouldn't even let us into the dining room.

"Dad Likes The Amenities Here"
My dad enjoys the retirement side of the community. He's tried activities, made friends, and likes the flavorful, non-spicy meals. The barber shop is a plus, and he appreciates the clean, nice apartment with pool and spa.

"**Staffing Concerns at Carriage House Assisted Living**"
I recommend the Carriage House to others. But, I'm worried because there's no manager at night or on weekends. Our concierge is great, but when she's not here, there's no one to help visitors, answer the phone, or assist residents. It's good that they hired an assistant manager; we needed that extra staff member.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
i really like my apartment—it’s super comfy. The housekeeper does an awesome job. The CNA’s (that’s the friendly staff) are helpful. They plan cool activities for us residents. The dining room is always clean and inviting, but the service isn’t great. The CNA’s might not know fancy dining stuff, and sometimes they’re short-staffed. The food is just okay.

This place is awesome for me right now. The people who work here are really nice, the food is good, and the other people living here are great too!

"Carriage House: Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
I tell others about Carriage House, but nights and weekends lack a manager. Our concierge is great, but without her, no one helps visitors or residents. It's good they hired an assistant manager.

"The Comfortable Haven - Lipa, PH"
I really like my apartment—it's super comfortable. The housekeeper does an excellent job. The CNA's are friendly and helpful. The activities for residents are fun and varied. The dining room is always clean and inviting, but the service can be poor. It seems the CNA's aren't trained for fine dining or are often understaffed. The food is just okay.
