"Good facility but high costs and need for more aides"
Overall, this place is pretty good. It's clean, and the management is good too. However, they need more aides to help out, and the prices are quite high. Families still have to bring things like toiletries, toilet paper, tissues, and water. I think it’s too expensive for people who need Assisted Living, especially when they have to share a room. The cost went up in January for everyone, and these people are paying all they have just to stay there.

"Comfortable facility, but mom preferred to go home"
The All American Assisted Living at Hanson felt really comfortable and homey. Sadly, my mom wanted to go back home, and since my brother agreed to look after her there, she didn’t try hard to be happy at the facility.

"Facility's Neglect and Unhygienic Practices Prompt EOEA Complaint"
My mom's experience at this nursing home has been a nightmare since we admitted her in July 2021 for dementia care. She was sleeping in unchanged sheets for over a month. Despite being assured that her bedding was washed and replaced daily, a tissue we left in her pillowcase as a test lingered for a week. It gets worse. They neglected to treat a nasty, leaking yeast infection under my mom's breast, even though her medical history clearly documents her susceptibility. We were told she and all the other residents were checked often, a statement which is clearly untrue. We reported this facility to the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Anyone who's interested can access the report under the Freedom of Information Act. We were reluctant to post this review, hoping that the EOEA would take action. However, time has shown us that may not be the case.

"Friendly Staff and Varied Food Make This Community Shine"
It’s a nice community, especially for healthy folks. The food isn’t their favorite, but there’s a good variety available. The staff are super friendly.

"Subpar Memory Care at This Assisted Living Facility"
My Dad stayed at this place for 2 years, specifically in the Memory Unit. Basic stuff like food and nursing was okay. But the Memory Care activities weren't the best, they could use a little more creativity. Most of the tactile and sensory activities seemed to just involve trivia which my Dad couldn't really join in on, or watching old shows on TV. Dad died not long ago, and there was no one from the facility at the funeral, and we received no sympathy card.

"Nice Facility, Unpleasant View"
The facility is quite nice, but the view from the veranda isn't great because it faces the road.

"A great assisted living where everyone feels respected and happy!"
I'm really impressed with All American Assisted Living. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and you can tell they enjoy working there. The residents seem happy and well-cared for. Everyone is treated with respect, and there are lots of events to join. I also like that there’s a menu, so the residents can choose what they want to eat. The place is very clean and looks nice.

"Great Experience So Far!"
Things have been going well so far. We're happy with the care she's receiving. The place is really clean, and the staff is friendly. They listen to our needs. Plus, it's more affordable than other options we checked out, and they include everything no extra charges for a few extra minutes of care. I also appreciate that they offer companion suites, so if someone visits, she still has her own room.

"Friendly, affordable care with attentive staff."
I talked about some things, and overall, it's been good. The price is excellent—one of the best around. Whenever I had a problem, they called back right away and resolved it quickly. They're open, accommodating, and attentive. All American Assisted Living is a nice community, and my experience has been pretty good. I'm happy with the services and staff.

"Great place for Mom to reside!"
I’m really impressed by how kind and compassionate the people are at AAAL. They take great care of my mom, and I hope they’re well compensated for it. The residents are wonderful too. Most of the staff genuinely care about their well-being, treating this place like their home. There was only one defensive new employee, but that matters a lot in this environment. The residence is lovely, clean, and safe. The food preparation should stay as good as when they first opened. AAAL in Hanson has done a great job since December. I’m thrilled my loved one is here, and I’d recommend AAAL to anyone.

"Bad Vibes, Pushy Sales, Scared Mom. Far Too Expensive."
Got a bad vibe right at the entrance. The sales pitch was way too pushy. 'I don't want to frighten you, but ***', was their opener and then they tried to scare my mom. The cost was way too high. Even if you don't need help, you have to pay for assisted-living services. This is absolutely not the right place for someone who is independent and in good health like my mom. The tour was so terrible that mom didn't want to see any other places. One star is honestly generous.

"Caring and Consistent Assisted Living with Room to Improve"
The people who moved us said, 'You can tell the difference in how people act.' The staff here are really good at talking and looking at the people with memory problems. It makes a calm and safe place. They always know what my dad needs and wants, and they take care of him well. The same people work here all the time. They don't keep changing. The things they plan for fun could be better, but they try hard to make friends in the assisted living part. The building is new, and it seems like they are learning how to make it better. They stay happy, and that's important. They are happy a lot.

"New facility, but wanted something more established."
This place was totally new, like it hadn't even opened when I visited. Everything seemed nice, but I was hoping for somewhere that's been around longer for my family member. I thought it might be too hectic and not a great fit for her since the staff were still getting the hang of things. I was looking for a place that's more settled and experienced.

"Still building new place, inexperienced staff causing unrest"
This place is still pretty fresh - construction's ongoing. My wife wouldn't be able to chill with all this happening. Plus, the staff's new and figuring out how to operate.
