"Comfortable living with extra costs; Medicaid not accepted."

This assisted living place costs $4525 each month. They have studio and one-bedroom apartments. You have to pay a one-time $1500 community fee. They offer extra services like managing medications, doing laundry, serving guest meals, salon services, phone, cable, and internet, but these all cost more. They accept PACE, but not Medicaid or MassHealth.

"Perfect Place for Mom and Her Dog"

My mom is really happy here and she loves it. This place was perfect because they allow dogs, and she didn't want to give up her dog. They had a first-floor apartment so she can easily take her dog outside. The meals we've tried are really good. The staff is very friendly. They plan activities and keep the community clean. Everything is great for her.

"Different Mediterranean diet, spices."

My mom's adjusting well. Staff's friendly, but food needs slight improvement.

My wife is doing great here. I know she is safe and well cared for. The staff is wonderful and very caring. The place looks nice and is well kept. Everything has worked out perfectly for us. I highly recommend this community.

"Warm, Clean Community with Helpful Staff"

The place looks really nice and clean, and the people who work here are really helpful. They take good care of my mom. There are things for her to do when she wants to. She says the food is alright. She's still getting used to it, but the staff has been really nice helping her adjust.

"Easy Transition"

There are many emotions involved when deciding to leave a private home. Moving to a senior retirement facility meant touring several places and comparing the pros and cons of each. My son, his wife, and I spent months talking about living quarters, activities, transportation, and menus that can accommodate my allergy. We agreed we had researched enough. The place that met my needs was, and still is, Armbrook Village. Friendliness is key here. I constantly encounter smiles and offers to help from both staff and residents. It has been an easy transition.

"I would give them five and a half stars!"

I would give them five and a half stars! They moved here from their home of fifty years, so it was a big change. When I visited and asked the big question, "Did we make the right decision?" they said yes. That really made me feel good; they are happy there.

"Disappointed: Odd smell and crowding in remote facility"

This place is just too out of reach for us. We weren't thrilled with what we saw. The section for memory care had an odd smell and some rooms were amazingly close to the kitchen. It felt really tight and overfilled.

"Food could use some improvement, but everything else is great."

The only thing that could improve at Armbrook Village is the food. Everything else is great! The staff provides excellent care and shows real consideration. My mom had a tough time adjusting at first since she left her home of 74 years, but she now understands the benefits of living there. I’m very happy with her experience.

"Wonderful community with great options!"

This place is amazing with a great program. We loved all the choices they offer. The staff is kind and practical. They take care of people's safety, health, and needs. They help people stay independent and respectful. Alisha, who we met, was very patient. They have options from full independence to full supervision. The only downside is that the assisted living part is a bit expensive for us.

"Nice place, overall"

Armbrook Village is a really nice place. It's clean and well-maintained, more like a fancy hotel than a typical facility. The staff are super friendly and helpful, taking great care of the residents. The food is good, and they offer lots of fun activities. I highly recommend them.

"Spacious, Comfortable Living with a Nice Menu"

Armbrook is quite a distance from town, so residents can’t walk to nearby places. The outside looks plain, but the inside is really nice. The one-bedroom apartment is spacious and comfortable. The studio is a good size too and doesn’t feel cramped. The menu is nice, and the diet is well organized. However, having only two meals a day feels like a limitation.

"Storage Concerns Addressable at Armbrook Village Memory Care"

I like this place a lot, but they really need more storage space. Still, I'm sure they can find ways to fix that.

"Very Nice Community with Excellent Food"

We visited this place while considering care options for our loved one. It's a really nice-looking community and was our second-favorite out of all the places we saw. The staff and care here seem excellent, and the price is affordable compared to others. However, respite care is a bit pricey. The food is also excellent, especially their Mediterranean diet selection.

"Great location, price, and staff. Love the affiliation!"

I think calling it a Mediterranean diet isn't quite right. It's healthy, but maybe it should be called a modified Mediterranean diet instead. We chose this place mainly because of its location and price, but the friendly executive staff also made a big difference. I also appreciate their connection to the Boston University School of Medicine Alzheimer Disease Center.

"New community, still learning, but doing great!"

We are really happy with this place. It’s super clean. It’s a new community and they’re still learning, but they’re doing great. The staff is nice, and everyone is friendly. They’re easy to work with. The residents seem very happy. They have good activities. The food is nice and the tables are set up well. The courtyard is really nice too.

"Everyone seemed happy, and I loved the warm feeling."

They’re doing a great job. I have no complaints; any issues would be small. I like their connection to Boston University. Everyone seemed happy, and I loved the warm, cozy feeling. They seemed genuinely caring.

"The food is excellent!"

The food is excellent! They offer many activities, but I think they need a few more for the men. I liked touring because it was new and clean. The staff really went out of their way for my dad. I enjoyed the range of activities they offered.

"Happy with the service and food!"

We’ve been very happy with the service here! It was a big choice for our loved one to move into a community, and he was really against it at first. After visiting, he chose this place, and he seems to be doing great! He’s really enjoying the food.

"Great potential with enjoyable activities, needs more staff attention soon"

Armbrook Village just opened around two months ago. So, like any new business, they're still figuring out the staff-to-resident ratio. However, as they welcome more residents, they plan on hiring more employees. Right now, they could use an extra hand for planning activities. But in about three months, they should be in a better position. There are plenty of outdoor activities available, like physical activities, a putting green, bocce courts, and raised garden beds. It's not just about sitting around playing cards, unlike where my mom was previously. She adores her apartment; it's just the right size for her. The food is fantastic, and I haven't met an employee I didn't like. My mom really, really enjoys it here. We're extremely happy, and we hope they hire more staff for activities and care services sooner rather than later.
