"Elderly Father Attacked at Bayberry, Facility Under Investigation"
My 84-year old dad was living in the memory care unit at Bayberry's senior living facility. Another resident seriously hurt him in his bathroom. The staff didn't tell us about it for 9 hours, and didn't even tell us how bad it was. We tried to meet with the person in charge of Bayberry, but they said no. The police came to Bayberry but the person in charge still won't say anything about what happened. Now, the Massachusetts Elder Affairs is looking into what happened.

" Poor Support and Food Quality at Assisted Living Facility"
Giving only 0.5 stars is generous. The Executive Director (ED) here offers zero assistance. We requested a conversation when we stopped by, and the nurse directed us to the ED. The ED declared there was nobody else except her, claiming she was doing everything for everyone and on the brink of leaving. She then dismissed me, assuring that she would notify "someone" and return to me. That was three weeks ago! Every time I see her, she evades me and tells me I must wait. I suggest: invest your money elsewhere. I'm also planning on moving my loved one out of here. The food quality is poor.

"Facility Moves Dad Post Heart attack, Daughter Kept In Dark"
My dad was moved after his heart attack and I wasn't told! The nurse who's supposed to care even thought it was a bad move! I wonder how many times this has happened before? I tried to talk to the boss but she just told me to talk to the same nurse who messed up!

"Friendly and Helpful Staff at Bayberry Assisted Living"
The administration and staff are very friendly and helpful. There was a temporary staff shortage and some confusion when my mom first moved in, but the administration helped fix everything. The staff levels seem good now, and they interact well with the residents. Having someone to help is important for any elderly person in a facility. My mom is still getting used to it, but she seems happy at Bayberry, and I feel good about choosing it.

"Cozy but lacking, decent food, limited outdoor space"
The place looks old, but it's kinda nice. There's not a lot of outdoor space. The rooms aren't really that great. The food was just okay.

"Great place for active seniors with a friendly atmosphere"
I was really happy with Bayberry compared to the other places I visited. My dad even found a girlfriend here, which makes him very happy. The facility is very clean, safe, and the staff works hard to keep everything running smoothly. I was surprised to learn that assisted living doesn't offer as much medical care as hospitals do, but I bring my dad what he needs, and they help administer it. The other residents are younger here than at some other places I saw, which is great for my dad because he’s still pretty active and likes talking to people. It’s a very friendly place!
