"Friendly Staff, Good Living, Lukewarm Food"
We live at Benchmark Senior Living at Forge Hill, and overall, it's been good. Moving in was quick and easy. The staff is friendly, positive, and efficient. There are lots of meal choices, but they're often just lukewarm. I've talked to one of the chefs about it. The facility is very clean. Overall, I don't have any complaints. However, many other residents are very negative about everything.

"Concerning Care, Adequate Amenities: Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
I'm not pleased with how they're taking care of my loved one at the facility. They're not giving them the help they need. The food's okay, but sometimes they forget to tell my loved one it's mealtime. There aren't enough staff. It's good for people who don't need much help. But I'm worried about the care they're supposed to be giving my loved one. Overall, it's a nice place with friendly people.

We visited this place in person. The staff were friendly, but the dining room was tiny and felt more like an office break room. It seemed a bit cold, which might suit someone who prefers solitude. The pricing wasn't suitable for our family.

"Limited Outdoor Freedom, Otherwise Good Virtual Tour Experience"
Our family did a virtual tour of Benchmark and it was nice. They showed us around well. We were comparing it to another place. We didn't pick Benchmark because they don't have a big outdoor area where our loved one could walk without always needing someone with her.

We chose Benchmark Senior Living for its happy staff and reputation. The facility looks nice with adequate room sizes. Food quality declined post-COVID; lacks freshness and variety. Close proximity is a plus; she's happy and well cared for.

"Avoid Third Floor During Heating Season"
This assisted living facility is pretty good, but you should definitely stay away from the third floor when it's heating season. The heat from the first two floors goes up and they can't do anything about it. It's not rare for the hallways to get as hot as 90 degrees and people often have to keep their doors and windows open even on days when it's not that cold outside.
