"Great Staff and Fun Activities at Assisted Living"
We've had a good experience overall. The staff are all very polite and know what they're doing. Since we're new to senior living, I expected a bit more care, but they do a good job. Our loved one often forgets to wear his call button, but I see the staff giving it to him when they notice. I get that they can't watch him every second, all day. He's settling in and likes playing the piano there. He also enjoys the activities. They show movies, bring in entertainment once a week, and have lots for the residents to do.

"Comfortable and Engaging Assisted Living Experience"
It's been a good experience so far. Mom has only been there a couple of months and still wants to go home, but I think she'd feel that way anywhere. It's been good for her and for us. I like the staff they're friendly and very helpful. Whatever you need done, they do it. They really try to get the residents involved in activities as best they can. I sat in on a sing-along the other day, and it was fun. I haven't been able to try the food yet because of Covid, but they offered me some chocolate cake the other day, and it was delicious.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility"
We're not too pleased with them. Our family member stays in assisted living and has gotten hurt twice. Their medications have been mixed up several times, and once, they were left sitting for an hour after asking to use the bathroom. It looks like a nice spot, and the staff is friendly, but they seem understaffed, especially during the early mornings and overnight.

"Well-Communicated Assisted Living with Recommended Amenities"
I find this community similar to others in cost and services. Staff communicate well with our family, keeping us informed. I would recommend it to others.

"Friendly staff and helpful care for my father"
The community is good at responding to my father's concerns. Most of the staff is friendly, and the care is good. They have been very helpful with my father's care and found ways to make it better. They offer activities for the residents, but my father doesn't join in often.

"Deceptive Tour Booking at Assisted Living Facility"
This place wasn't really assistive. They scheduled a tour for us but then attempted to shuffle us off to another one of their properties. This felt a bit like a bait and switch trick.

"Top choice for my mom!"
I think this senior living facility is amazing! I hope to get my mom in here soon. When we arrived, it felt very welcoming. The staff and residents are all so happy. They really took the time to understand my mom’s needs and helped me through the entire process. In the end, this place is at the top of our list for her.

"Older facility, decent but not modern enough for loved ones."
We went to see Benchmark Senior Living. It wasn't terrible. It looked okay, but it's kinda old. We wanted something newer for our family, so we're checking out other places.

"Looking for Something More Modern"
We had a look around Benchmark Senior Living. It wasn't awful or anything. Sure, it was kind of nice, but it's kind of old. We wanted something newer and modern for our family members, so we're going to check out other places.

"The staff really impressed us here!"
We were really impressed by the staff at this community. Everyone we met during the tour greeted us, other staff members, and the residents. The person who gave us the tour knew all the residents and something about them. It was clear everyone enjoyed their job. The food is good and nicely presented. They have daily activities, and the community is clean. I would definitely recommend it.

"Assisted Living Facility Provides Good Care for Mother"
My mom's doing alright at this place. She had a couple of hiccups but now she's getting better here. I trust they're taking good care of her. The staff are mostly nice. The place is clean and tidy. Overall, things are going fine, and I'd suggest this community.

"They keep us informed and provide great care!"
Everything is going well. Some aides could be better with laundry and housekeeping, but those are just small things. Overall, they're doing great. They keep us updated about my loved one and always take time to talk to us instead of brushing us off.

"Nice place, but a bit pricey"
We visited this community while looking for care options for a loved one. This place would have been our second choice. It’s a beautiful, smaller facility, and the staff were very friendly. The care they provided looked excellent, and all the residents seemed well cared for. However, it was also one of the more expensive places we considered.

"Safe and caring environment with excellent care standards!"
Shrewsbury Crossings’ management focuses on a safe and caring environment for residents. We saw this on our first tour and it’s still true almost a year after Mom moved in. Their care approach includes physical, emotional, and intellectual activities. They exceed Massachusetts care requirements, and their aides take pride in their work. The whole team spends time getting to know residents and families, which helps them give the best care, including therapy and medication management. They hold monthly feedback forums to make sure everyone is satisfied and to address any needed changes. The onsite physical and occupational therapy from Excella has been essential for Mom, helping her walk again and be more independent. The monthly activity calendar encourages residents to socialize, make friends, and stay active. The food is great, with daily menu options. Mom loves her new home, and our family feels secure knowing she is comfortable and well cared for by the Shrewsbury Crossings team. The cost varies based on the level of services needed, which makes sense for us and Mom.

"Great Overall, with a Few Issues"
The care here is good overall. Staff are friendly, respond quickly, but we've had a few issues. My mom's needs aren't fully met, and the nurse only provides consultations. Staff could be more proactive.

"Great care and activities for Mom!"
We’ve been really happy with everything here. They care for Mom very well, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They keep her busy with lots of activities. There’s a Saturday van ride around town to places she enjoys. We had a small issue with her care, but they fixed it quickly and were glad to make the changes we needed.

"Full Service Assisted Living; No Dogs in Companion Quarters"
This assisted living home provides full assistance and companion living. The monthly fee for companion living is $2640, while private living costs $4080 per month. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the companion rooms - the reviewer believes this is a standard policy. The facility also has a full staff and emergency response available.

"Assisted Living with Engaging Staff and Pleasant Amenities"
This place has around 70 people living there, with about 50 of them being active and 20 needing memory care. It's a two-story building with an open layout and lots of common areas where people can hang out. It's always clean and doesn't smell bad. They have activities like computer training that residents can join in on. The staff seem nice and friendly. Outside, there's a walking trail, flowers, and even a vegetable garden. Plus, there are high school sports nearby in the fall and spring. The dining area for active residents is really nice and the food looks good. They also have physical therapy services available. You can choose from different levels of care, and some of them don't cost extra. They give you a lot of details about the costs and can help you get assistance from the VA if you need it. They even have a deal where you can get a studio apartment at a lower price for a whole year. Overall, it's a good place to consider if you're looking for somewhere to live.
