"Better Care for Loved Ones"
My mom was very sick, so our experience was unique. As a nurse who worked in assisted living, I found this facility to be one of the better ones.

"Community Strives for Excellence in Care"
The care is great, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The community should update activities for younger residents and improve the music selection. They work hard to find food residents enjoy. More veggie options would be nice. Nursing staff is top-notch.

"Mixed Feelings About Facility Location"
Our family visited the assisted living facility in person, and the tour went well. However, we weren't fond of its location.

"Great place with friendly staff and good-sized rooms"
I would tell my friends this place is great. It's friendly and comfortable. The rooms are a good size. My loved one is in the specialized care area on the lower level, which is different from the regular units. The upstairs units look a bit bigger; we just walked in and out briefly.

"Inadequate Care and Safety Issues In Senior Care Facilities"
My dad was in the memory care section of an assisted living facility. In just his first week, he fell and got pneumonia. To assure his safety, I hired personal nighttime aides after the first seven days. By the third week, I moved him out. I have reason to think my father experienced abuse there. Unexplained bruises appeared on him and no one could tell me how he fell. Memory care units like these are unsafe for seniors suffering from dementia. It seems like these places only prioritize profit, often resorting to outright deceit. My dad is no more, but I worry for other seniors in these facilities. There's scarce supervision. Despite reporting my concerns to numerous organizations, my fight continues. If you've had an unpleasant experience like mine, I encourage you to voice your complaints and continue sharing negative reviews. Our seniors deserve far better.

"Benchmark Memory Care Needs More Fun and Sunlight"
Benchmark's memory care community felt gloomy and lacked sunlight. The shared rooms weren't comfy or welcoming. While the staff was nice, there weren't any signs of fun or mind-challenging activities for the residents. They really need to put more money into improving care for those with dementia.

"Great Activities and Clean Community!"
They have a lot of daily activities and my aunt loves joining in. The community is really clean. At first, we had some confusion with the billing, but they helped us sort it out. She enjoys the food, and I would recommend this place.

"Aunt’s New Home Brings Us Back Together"
Visiting my aunt at her new assisted living place was like stepping back into a time when we used to hang out more. The staff there are really nice, and they keep the place super clean. It’s not perfect, though. Sometimes it gets too noisy, and my aunt says the food could be better. But she’s made some friends, and I can tell she’s not as lonely. It’s a pretty good spot for her to be.

"Very nice, but too big for us"
This place was bigger than what we wanted. It looked really nice, was clean, and the staff were friendly. But it had lots of residents. We preferred something smaller where Mom could get more attention.
