"Caring Assisted Living Does a Good Job"
Overall, it's a nice place where they genuinely care for the patients, even though it's a tough job.

"Decent Facility, Not Fit for High-Care Needs"
We rated our experience with the assisted living place as okay, giving it three stars. They told us they could take care of my brother’s special needs, but it turned out we had to move him over to their nursing area that has more medical help. My brother has trouble remembering things, and moving him around is really scary for him and wears him out. The Blaire House is a nice and tidy place. The food is pretty tasty, and the people who work there are super nice and seem to really care. They did their best, but they just couldn’t give my brother the help he needed. Sometimes, I had to get extra people to come and stay with him. The food is great, but I can’t say much about the activities because my brother didn’t join in. Besides eating and making sure he took his medicine, I found myself paying twice as much as what he used to pay at the other community we won’t name. Even though it wasn’t the same kind of care, we had to pay more for everything else. Blaire House might be a good fit for someone who doesn’t need a lot of help, but it wasn’t right for my brother. I didn’t get a chance to see the Memory Unit, so I don’t have much to say about that part.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility; room for improvement"
The assisted living facility has its ups and downs. I often have to remind them about things. They don't always clean my loved one's room properly, even when I ask them to. However, he enjoys hanging out with his friends during meals, which matters most to me—his well-being. He gets along with the staff, who encourage him to join in activities. In memory care, they don't directly provide care but give reminders. They ask if he wants a shower, but he usually declines. I've suggested they change how they approach this, but many don't make the effort. I find most of the staff to be lazy, leaving areas unattended to play on their gadgets. I'm dissatisfied with this. They also don't check his diapers unless I pay extra. On the upside, they offer good activities, decorate for holidays, and have exercise sessions. However, they occasionally restrict visitors when residents are sick. The elevator to memory care has been broken for a while, and meetings with staff sometimes feel uncomfortable. Despite these issues, the facility itself is nice and clean in common areas. But my loved one's room often lacks cleanliness, with soiled sheets not changed promptly. Some aides are caring, but others aren't. Overall, I'm disheartened by these experiences and puzzled by unexplained charges on the bill.

"Nice place, but no suitable openings"
I really liked the community. Unfortunately, they didn't have a spot that suited my mother.

Blair House of Milford Assisted Living is a great place. However, we’re looking for a larger facility with more community space.

"Highly recommend for comfort and care!"
I would suggest Blair House Assisted Living in Milford, Mass, to any of my family and friends. The apartments are really nice, and the staff was amazing to my dad and all his visitors, even late at night when they had to stop what they were doing to let me in and out. The food was great, and the cook was super friendly, always willing to make whatever a resident wanted, not just what was on the menu. After each visit, I left feeling relaxed and confident that my dad was safe and happy. He stayed there for a short time after rehab and is now back in his own condo. If he ever needs assisted living again, he would choose Blair House!

I was glad to visit this place for my mom's care. The staff were friendly and answered all our questions about the care they provide. The community was clean, and we saw they offer a good variety of meals. There are activities for residents who want to join in. We would suggest other families check out this place for their loved ones.

"Great community with warm atmosphere and helpful pricing negotiations"
They have a great community. Everything is nice. It’s a small, new place with a warm feeling. They offer activities, and my aunt volunteers there. She loves the people and the meals. She has gained weight from eating better. They also worked with us on pricing, which helped, and they have a nursing home for transition.

"Best place for him, hands down!"
We've been really happy with them so far. It was the best place for him. It's not a big company, and having a family onsite running things and being able to talk to the decision-makers makes a huge difference. They are responsive and attentive. When I visit, he is alert and smiling. He is clearly happy and looks cheerful.
