"Assisted Living Review: Mom Enjoys Amenities but Schedules Clash"
My mom really likes her apartment. She's super happy about having a kitchen and laundry machines. Plus, she's a big fan of the library and enjoys joining the exercise classes. The only thing that bums her out is that on Tuesday mornings, there's a mass and rosary that she really enjoys, but it overlaps with the arts and crafts session. So, unfortunately, she ends up missing out on the art class.

"Great Activities, Food, and Clean Environment"
My dad moved there nearly 2 years ago. It's been really good! They have lots of activities to keep you occupied! The food is delicious and the place is very neat!

"Mixed experience with caring staff at assisted living facility tour"
During my visit to check on care options for my parents, the tour was pleasant. The staff was friendly, though insufficient for the residents' needs. My questions were answered, and I learned about the available activities. I'd suggest families consider this community for loved ones' care.

"A Welcoming, Family-Like Community"
My friend is getting used to the new place, and it's been a big change for all of us. The community is nice and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The food is excellent, and it feels like a family here.

"Assisted Living Facility Uses Deceptive Practices for Extra Fees"
CAUTION TO PROSPECTIVE BUYERS...my father relocated here almost 15 months ago, and ever since we've been battling continuos hefty fee increases. Practically from the moment he arrived, the management has attempted to hike his care level. Currently, each level is priced at $650 monthly. Initially, they assessed him lower to entice him to move in, and then the pressure escalated. They employ techniques similar to those used in selling timeshares. There might not be issues with the care, food, or facilities themselves, but their business methods verge on exploitation.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
Today's visit was good. The place feels cozy with friendly staff and residents. We went for a tour at 4:30 and saw the older folks having dinner. We might return at 6:30 for another look. They showed us a 1-bedroom apartment for $4850. We're not sure about the location though; it's near strip malls but lacks walking paths. Another thing to note is the rooms are quite small. They showed us a 1-bedroom with a den even though we only wanted a 1-bedroom, and also a studio, which were both tiny.

"Great Transition for Mom at BrightView Assisted Living"
My mom's three-room apartment at BrightView on the first floor is a bit pricey, but it's been a really good change for her. Every day, they have a big schedule of activities that they hand out everywhere, with big letters. They also put it up on a big board in the mailroom. Mom really likes the chair exercises every morning with a fantastic instructor who knows everyone's names. She also enjoys the singing group. Every Friday, they have live music in the lounge and everyone sings along. Mom likes playing cards and BINGO every evening at Happy Hour in the lounge. The van takes her to church every Sunday and goes to stores and doctor appointments too. BrightView is great - their theater can hold 100 people! They show movies every night. The people at the front desk are friendly and caring. If you need to move from Independent to Assisted Living, all the public places stay the same, except for the breakfast and dining room. It sounds like it would be a smooth change, but Mom hasn't needed to switch yet. Overall, it's been a super move for my 80-year-old mom. I would definitely recommend BrightView.

"Mixed Experience at Brightview Danvers"
Overall, things have been okay at Brightview Danvers. Mom likes it here. It looks nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. But there are some things they could do better. The food needs a lot of improvement. It's not very good. It's not varied, sometimes it's not hot, and it's just not good quality. Also, they could have been clearer when we signed up. They promised more than they deliver.

""Father's Neglected in Dirty, Uncaring Assisted Living Facility""
I'm really let down by the poor quality of care here (it's changed a bunch, costing more but not giving more, especially in the time spent here). The place is dirty, with laundry tossed everywhere so it's hard to tell what's clean. We were charged 7800.00 as we left, but the room my dad was in was super dirty. I couldn't even go see him there at the end. I cleaned up the room myself sometimes, and so did my daughter. But we had to stop because it made him sad to see me cleaning instead of spending time with him. The place doesn't care, it's not clean, and it's unhealthy. The staff, including the nurse who never leaves her office, are mean. The people in charge need to wake up...this is not how you run a business, especially not when you're supposed to be taking care of people who need you!

"Unhealthy Conditions and Exorbitant Rates at Assisted Living Facility"
This facility is not what it pretends to be. The management doesn't care, there's a nurse who stays holed up in her office, and the aids do the bare minimum. The place is dirty, the employees aren't engaged and they're unhappy which makes it a miserable place for everyone. And by dirty, I mean there were unhealthy conditions in my Dad's room which were alarming. When I asked them to improve his care, their response was claiming my dad didn't want help, which I know isn't true. Then, they upped his monthly costs by $600.00. When I griped about nothing changing, they responded by increasing it another $600.00. Believe me, this is a real experience, not like the sketchy reviews you might have read. I'm writing this to 1) Stop you from making a huge mistake by choosing this place, and 2) Push this place to improve. This lazy management is harming real people. Their only saving grace is the dining room area, where the staff is clean and respectful. My father's condition improved drastically once we left this place. And get this, after the third complaint I made about cleanliness and care, they suggested we move him to their 'wellspring' or go elsewhere. Let me be clear, my dad doesn't suffer from Alzheimer's.
