"Welcoming and Clean Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
The front desk staff is always nice and helpful. Moving in was easy. The place is really clean, and the housekeeper in the memory care unit is great. She goes out of her way to talk to the residents. The activities director is very kind and treats the residents like friends. I think you have to be proactive about your loved one. It can be tough to get answers to your questions. Sometimes the communication from the top is not great. They don't always get back to you right away, which can be frustrating. Overall, I would recommend Brookdale.

"Lack of Communication at Assisted Living Facility"
The place is tidy, and my mom's room is pleasant. Unfortunately, the activities director left, leaving no one in charge and no real activities. Management failed to inform us, resulting in serious communication issues. Disappointed.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Mixed Staff, Average Meals, Older Environment"
When it comes to the cleanliness of the place, it looks old and kind of dark and dull. Some of the staff members were really nice, but others didn't seem as interested. As for the quality of care, again, some of the staff cared more about the residents than others did. The meals were okay, not amazing but not terrible. My brother was there for respite care. It was the only place available as we moved him to his permanent home. Brookdale wasn't our first choice. Most residents were further along in their illness, so he didn't have any peers.

"Brookdale: A Top Assisted Living Facility"
Brookdale is a great place! It's super clean, and the staff is really nice. The food is good, and they take great care of my aunt. I'd definitely recommend it.

"Gross Visit, Forgotten Tour, Needs Improvement, Not Recommended"
This was a really gross visit and they forgot about my scheduled tour. The place definitely needs improvements. I wouldn't suggest this place to anybody.

"Assisted Living Review"
I had some issues with this assisted living facility. My dad never received his mail, and although the staff seemed nice, there just weren't enough of them. My dad was in memory care, which made things challenging. He felt lost because he didn't know who to ask for help. They didn't check in often or offer assistance. Eventually, we moved him out, and he's happier now. The staff tried to engage him, but he preferred staying behind locked doors. Overall, it wasn't the right fit for him.

"Positive recommendation with cost caution and food satisfaction."
I recommend checking out the community to see if it suits you. Just be aware of additional costs for certain services. My loved one likes the food they serve.

"Good experience but high cost and limited activities due to Covid"
We had a good experience with the general manager, who interviewed us and was really nice. Because of Covid, things were different from what they might have been normally. My loved one was one of the youngest people there, and he wasn’t very happy about that. However, he had a nice room with his own bathroom and a kitchen area. The place was very clean, and they came in once a week to clean the rooms. He was unhappy because everyone else was much older than him. He didn’t like the food, which was low in salt for health reasons. I thought the food looked good and the menu choices were nice. There weren’t many activities because of Covid, but they had things like bingo. They had stopped the outings and excursions. I found it pretty expensive, especially with extra charges for things like medication assistance and showering, but I’m not sure how it compares to other places.

"Bad Staff and Care at Assisted Living Facility"
Don't choose this place. Look somewhere else for your loved one. The management doesn't care. They badly lack staff. The employees are mean. My mom stayed there a few months before they kicked her out because they said her care was too much. They told her on a Friday afternoon when no family member was there.

"Cold and Heartless Treatment at Assisted Living Facility"
My mother-in-law resided at this assisted living facility for a brief period. We paid the hefty $6,000 entrance fee, but the quality of care she received was completely unsatisfactory. The staff members were inadequately trained, disrespectful, and appeared to lack compassion. I wouldn't advise anyone to place a family member in their care. If you do make the unfortunate decision to trust them with someone you love, please make sure you continuously monitor their welfare. My mother-in-law was unjustly expelled from the facility. Their reason? They claimed she required too many medications, needed a wheelchair and requested too much assistance - tasks you'd bravely imagine a senior living facility should handle. On a Friday afternoon, with no regard for her feelings, they told her to leave, causing her to break down in tears. They didn't even have the decency to inform us, her family, about their decision. The management's actions were cold and heartless.
