The staff is super nice, but the move-in process is confusing. Communication needs improvement. I had to make a fuss for my dad to get a proper tour. It feels like you could vanish there despite all the talk.

"Great Experience with Convenient Meals and Professional Staff"
The experience here has been really good. I think this community should definitely be on your list to check out. The meals are very tasty and the food quality is excellent. However, it's a bit inconvenient that dinner is only served at 5:15 PM, and due to COVID protocols, visitors aren't allowed in the dining room. If a resident wants to eat in their room, they need to order their food ahead of time. The staff members are professional, and the location is very convenient. We're quite happy with our experience so far. There are residents who have lived here for a long time. They offer various types of care, so if your loved one starts with independent living, they can move to assisted living and then to memory care.

"Perfect Fit for Us"
We picked Brookdale Cushing Park because we moved to be near family. We needed a place that allows smoking and pets, and we found it here. We live independently in our own small house with a garage. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is just right for us. We would suggest Brookdale to others who are searching.

"Friendly and Accommodating Assisted Living!"
We picked Brookdale Cushing Park because it was affordable. My mom had stayed at another Brookdale place in California, and she liked it there. They were really flexible with our schedule and even gave us furniture when Mom moved from out of state. The staff made a big effort to help us. The facility is super nice, and the management cares a lot about the residents. I’d recommend them to others.

Our family visited the place and it felt like for what we’re paying, they’re not giving us much or anything that stands out. It was just like any other regular place we’ve seen.

"Struggles with Care and Costs at Senior Facility"
The place was ready to set rules for the older folks’ area but didn’t step up to make any improvements. Since the start of Covid, they haven’t changed things up or really connected with the people living there. Talking with them wasn’t great, and they couldn’t make sure all the help they promised was actually happening right, or even happening at all. We also ran into a bunch of problems with the bills, like being charged too much for the help we got.
