"Convenient Location and Affordable: Overall Good Experience at Assisted Living"
The nurses could communicate better. We chose this place because it's close and affordable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would suggest it to others.

"Family tour positive, chose another community for loved one's needs."
We toured in person and had a good experience. We have no complaints about this place, but another community suited our loved one better.

"Expensive with limited activities; spacious, accessible, mixed food reception."
This place costs a bit more, and because of COVID, they don't have activities right now. Before COVID, they had cooking and baking classes, painting classes, and lots of arts and crafts. They also brought in live entertainment. We liked how open the community is and how easy it is for residents to get around. Our loved one isn't a big fan of the food they serve. She has a nice-sized apartment that she really likes, with a small kitchen that we think is very practical.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
"My mom really likes living here! She enjoys the activities and being able to walk around outside. The food isn't great right now, though. The place is always clean, and the staff is super friendly and caring towards everyone. Whenever I need help from the front desk for my mom or her apartment, they respond quickly. The aides are all very nice. It's expensive, but they provide good care, the apartments are nice, and everything is well-maintained at The Linden."

"Appalling Conditions Plague Assisted Living Facility"
The state of this memory care facility is deplorable. It's disgustingly dirty, with an instance of a hanger being used to prop open a door in a resident's room. Residents are herded together in a common area, treated more like cattle than human beings. From my observations, the staff appear disinterested and inattentive; often caught eating, using their cellphones, or even napping on the job. They show no concern for the residents. During mealtimes, I've seen plates whisked away while patients are still eating. There was even a moment where a resident had to grab food from her plate as it was being removed. I've also seen the staff feasting on the leftovers, showing no regard for their duties or the people they're supposed to be caring for. The lack of empathy, compassion, respect, and care from nurses and aides is concerning. They seem to forget that it's these very residents who pay their salaries. Instances of rough treatment of the seniors have been noticed such as moving a resident's wheelchair without prior notice and then harshly telling them to stop yelling and keep their hands in their lap when the patient becomes distressed. The facility's management is unfortunately no better, showing no response to any concerns or complaints. It's scandalous that they allow the facility to remain so filthy and can unabashedly call themselves leaders. I urge anyone considering this facility to stay away. If I had the power, my loved one would have been removed from this place a long time ago. The state should intervene and close this unstarred facility down.
