"Great staff and follow-up, room size concern for friend"
I enjoyed The Linden at Dedham. My friend wanted bigger rooms, which was her only issue. The staff were excellent and followed up well after our tour.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living and Memory Care"
My family member stayed at The Linden for a bit. At first, she was in the regular care part because she could still do some things by herself. But then her memory got worse really fast, so she had to go to a special part of the place for people who forget a lot. It wasn’t so good there because they didn’t have enough workers, and she couldn’t even see the brain doctor they had. The other people there were a lot more forgetful than she was, so it didn’t feel like the right fit for her. The bosses at The Linden, like the salesperson and the head nurse, were super nice. They knew who my family member was and cared about her. I think they just needed more helpers. The first part where she lived was really good, with a nice room and fun things to do. I’d say that part was almost perfect. But the part for people who forget wasn’t as good. It felt like a whole different place, and I wish it was better.

"Great activities, but communication needs improvement"
The community offers fun activities, but our loved one doesn’t join in. We’d recommend this place to others, but we do have a problem with communication. Sometimes it’s hard to get clear answers, which definitely needs to be better.

"Friendly, welcoming community with good care but mixed food quality"
We picked The Linden at Dedham because it's a smaller place and everyone we met was really nice. It had good reviews and was affordable too. When we visited, my mom thought it felt very welcoming. The rooms vary in size, and she is in a very large one-bedroom. The food quality depends on who is cooking. It was great when we first came, but she's not too happy with it now because she thinks it needs to be cooked more. On the bright side, there’s a good variety on the menu. What stands out most is how much the staff and residents care for each other. Overall, I would recommend this place.

"Unstable Staff Turnover Hurts Assisted Living Facility's Reputation"
I found this place to be very unpredictable. The workers we really liked would be gone suddenly, without even saying goodbye. The staff that is there seems to feel their jobs aren't secure either. You never know when someone is going to leave. Residents in memory care really need to know that they can rely on the staff every day! It's not fair to the residents who forge connections with them. In this type of place, residents in need attach quickly to anyone who can give them a sense of safety. But you're not going to find that here. I will be looking for a more stable facility for my loved one. I would suggest you do the same.

"Poor Management and Staff Turnover Spoil This Facility"
Despite the nice surroundings, the management here leaves much to be desired. They can't hold down a consistent team, and my mom keeps losing her favorite staff members. Each time I visit, someone else is gone, and it's unsettling. Consistent care is crucial here. I recommend looking for memory care elsewhere. I wouldn't suggest this facility.

This place was really nice and tidy, everyone was friendly. But the apartments they had weren't big enough for what we were looking for.

"Not cosmetically appealing for us"
Brookdale Dedham had many amenities we wanted, but the community wasn't as well maintained as others we visited. It looked shabby and needed repairs. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all our questions. However, we chose a different community for our current needs.

"Great Place for Loved Ones"
My sister's in rehab now, but when she's better, she'll move to Brookdale. It's a nice-looking place. They keep everything clean. The staff we met were friendly. I'm sure she'll be well cared for there. I'd recommend it; it's nice.

"Review of Brookdale Dedham - Dedham, MA"
I'm not sure about the care provided by the aides and nurses, and the billing process. However, the building is beautiful, set on lovely wooded grounds.

"Mixed Feelings"
Our time at Emeritus at Wilson Mountain was okay. The place looks good and stays clean. The staff is mostly nice. But sometimes, it feels like they care more about money. I've noticed richer residents getting better treatment.

"Worries About Assisted Living’s Past Issues"
I feel uneasy about the link to Emeritus. A few years back, there was a big news story on Frontline that showed some bad things about that company. I’m wondering, is it still something we should worry about?

"Positive experience at assisted living, despite transition challenges."
My family member hasn't been here long, but so far, it's good! The staff mostly do a good job. We had a few small issues at first, but they fixed them fast. The place looks great, Mom likes the food. There's been some changes since Brookdale took over Emeritus, which made things a bit uncertain. But Mom enjoys it, and that's what counts. I'd recommend it!

"Impressed with care, food, and cleanliness—worth the cost!"
He’s really happy with the place. The food impressed him, which was a nice surprise. It’s pricey, but we think it’s worth it. The care is meeting our expectations right now. It’s very clean and friendly.

"Institutional Atmosphere."
We visited this place while searching for options for a family member. It looked nice, but it didn't feel cozy like we wanted. It was super clean and tidy, but it felt more like a hospital than a home. It didn't seem like it would be a good match for our loved one.

The assisted living community was clean, staff friendly, but not homey enough for my mother-in-law.

"Solving Problems in Assisted Living Facility"
The people who worked there were really nice and friendly. My mom had to adjust because she used to have care all the time. The staff mostly responded quickly, but there were some mix-ups. Mom got her medicine, but not always her baths. She couldn't do activities, but she liked her meal buddies. We had some problems, but we talked it out.

"Mixed Experience: Beautiful Location, But Hygiene Concerns Prevail"
This place looks really nice, with trees and stuff. But when I went in, there was a stinky smell in most parts. It didn't seem clean. The area where people with memory problems stay, though, was super nice. Everyone seemed happy and busy doing stuff.
