"Be Patient, It's Complicated but Worth It"
The whole process was complicated. It always seemed like we needed to take one more step or fill out one more form. The process was a challenge. The people at Cadberry Common were super nice. Afterward, I understand why all the steps were necessary, but it was still a complicated process. You need to be patient.

The staff is great overall. The place has a lot of friendly people and is very clean. They have housekeepers on each floor. The staff is friendly and knew my name right away. They offer fun activities, including trips and on-site games. The value seems about the same as other places like Cadbury Commons. The community is run very well.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Facility"
Cadbury is a pretty decent spot if you like doing things on your own. The rooms are nice to stay in, and the meals are pretty tasty, though not top-notch. But, when it comes to the help they offer, it’s not really up to par. Folks often have to wait a long time, like 30 minutes, after they hit their help buttons. Getting medicine is hit-or-miss, with people sometimes getting their meds late or not at all. There’s no set schedule for bedtime or getting up in the morning. A lot of folks hire their own helpers because the Cadbury crew is just too busy. And guess what? The residents have to pay for these extra helpers, plus what they already pay for their room and food at Cadbury. There are all sorts of fun things to do, and some residents find them really enjoyable. But there are also quite a few who don’t join in on any of the fun. The people who work here are super nice, but not everyone’s great with English. One thing Cadbury is really quick about is sending folks to the hospital if they’re sick or have an accident, which is a good thing. The cleaning schedule is kind of random, and it’s not always clear when they’re going to change the sheets. Definitely not every week. And for those who only get help with showers twice a week, this isn’t enough. If the cleaner is off, nobody cleans that week. Laundry service is all over the place—they mix colors and whites, don’t hang shirts, and sometimes do laundry in the middle of the night. Sometimes clothes just vanish. And they won’t wash towels or washcloths unless you remember to put them in the laundry bag. Some rooms are too hot, others too cold. You might need your own air conditioner in the winter if your room’s a sauna. The summer AC works well, but they only have it on during certain times of the year.

Rooms are dim, residents seem bored, place feels too much like a hospital.

"Lack of Quality Management Disappoints at Assisted Living Facility"
This place may look good, but it's not living up to expectations. I have a family member who stays here, and as much as I want her to move, it would be too hard on her. The way the bosses run this place could be way better. It's a shame because this place could be really great. It's hard to talk to the bosses because they're often not here. When they are, it's a lot of pointless talk. This business basically runs itself and the frontline care staff are way more committed than any of the bosses.

"Welcoming Assisted Living with Active Atmosphere and Friendly Staff"
I really liked the quick tour. The staff was super nice. The place felt cozy and comfortable. The room I saw was a good size. The people living there seemed busy and cheerful. I also enjoyed the garden in the courtyard and the nearby park for walks. I might think about this place more for my mom or dad.

"Lots of Activities and Friendly Staff at Cadbury Commons"
One great thing about Cadbury Commons is all the activities they offer. They have things like arts and crafts, a fitness center, and a nice garden outside. The tour guide was helpful and gave me lots of info about the services and amenities. The staff I met were friendly, and the whole place seemed nice clean and well-organized.
