"Finding Comfort and Community at Carmel Terrace"
Moving to Carmel Terrace after living in our home for over 50 years was a tough decision. The first night, I felt like I had found paradise. All the stress of trying to stay at home as we aged vanished. I felt a huge sense of relief! For 5 years, our daughter and I explored many options. Now, my husband and I are in a place where we're cared for without troubling our kids. After 15 months here, that relief hasn't faded. There are lots of perks, like daily Mass, rides to appointments, live shows, exercise classes, book club, guest speakers, regular vaccinations for flu and COVID-19, 3 meals daily, resident meetings, and weekly apartment cleaning. But the best part? The people here are the real treasure. I'm delighted to have made new friends to share meals and conversations with. Choosing Carmel Terrace was the right move for us!

"Inadequate care, forced to leave."
Carmel Terrace isn't good for elders. Nice place, but not helpful.
