" 'Don't Consider This Place: Poor Activities, Bad Food, Neglectful Staff'"
The workers seemed great and made it sound so amazing when we decided to move my husband, who has Alzheimer's, into this assisted living facility on. He could still do quite a bit on his own at that time. All they really had for activities were some music videos and not much else that wouldn't tire someone out. But if you think they'll have different activities for those who can do more, guess again. My husband was stuck pacing up and down the halls with nothing to keep him busy. They didn't even have a TV for a whole month, then finally got YouTube. They had told me there would be others he could chat with. But apart from 3 or 4 ladies, everyone else just stayed in their rooms unless it was meal time. And the food was so bad that he wouldn't eat, and ended up losing weight. When I'd go visit, I hardly ever saw any staff around. Believe me, you DON'T want to go here.

"Caring Assisted Living with Location Concerns"
The staff was amazing. They knew everyone's names and genuinely cared about people. The Director was familiar with the residents. The place was clean, and there were plenty of activities. Plus, they accommodate different faiths. Our only issue was the location.

"Decent facility, but layout wasn't ideal for dad's preference."
We liked Chesnut Park during our visit. Everyone was nice and helpful. But Dad preferred the layout of another place a bit more.

"Outdoor space too small, but friendly staff and clean community."
We really enjoyed this place. The people who worked there were super nice and always ready to lend a hand. The whole place looked really tidy, which was great. Most of the people living there seemed pretty content. My only complaint was that there wasn’t much room outside for the residents to enjoy.

"Friendly and Welcoming Community"
I took a quick tour of the community. Everyone was friendly and attentive. They offered different meal plans, including vegetarian options. They also had free transportation for the residents. The tour guide gave me all the information I needed about the community. There were activities available both on site and off site.

"Helpful Staff but Concerns About Residents and Garden"
They got in touch very quickly, the first ones to do so. The director spent three hours talking to me and invited the head nurse to give medical advice. The place looks fancy inside. The room size is okay. I'm worried because the residents are much older than my sister and didn't seem aware of their surroundings (I smiled and said hello, but they didn't respond). I'm also sad there wasn't a real garden. I forgot to ask about internet and phone access.

"Refreshing Care Options: A Genuine Approach with Sunlit Rooms"
Finally, a place that doesn't limit care to strict categories. There's room for those who need something between memory care and assisted living. The staff genuinely cares, and the rooms are a decent size with plenty of sunlight. It's a huge bonus that they're affiliated with BI hospital. The only downside is the urban grounds, which might not suit everyone's taste. But overall, Amanda provided wonderful service.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"
I thought the place looked nice, and the rooms seemed good. But since my family member moved in, it's been frustrating. They're slow to respond and take forever with repairs. I hope things get better.
