"Great tour and a beautiful facility!"
My guide was helpful, full of energy, and really caring the whole time. I got a full tour of the facility, had plenty of chances to ask all my questions, and never felt rushed. The place is absolutely beautiful!

"Safe and happy; a relief for caregivers"
We brought my mother-in-law to East Village Place after checking out three other memory care centers and spending six months convincing her husband it was better for her than staying at home. Her behavior had become erratic, and he was very frustrated. She wouldn't let us clean her or help her eat, and she spent most of her days in a recliner staring at the wall. Finally, she is in a place where she is kept clean and happy, with activities throughout the day to stimulate her mind. She has people to talk to, and her caregivers are incredibly patient. Her husband initially struggled with the move, but he visits her twice daily during meals to feed her and has come to terms with it. The staff are always welcoming and patient. They provide activities that get her up and moving. She went from barely able to walk to the bathroom to participating in games with other residents. This is not a nursing home, but a memory care center where she can live safely. We are very happy with the arrangement.

"Mom is happy, active, and has made great friends!"
My mom loves her new lifestyle and experiences. East Village Place (EVP) is doing an excellent job and is a great fit for her. EVP feels more like home than anywhere else I've seen. They have many activities to keep all residents active. Mom has made several new friends and enjoys her meals with a nice group. All the staff at EVP are professional, friendly, and caring. Yes, EVP was the right choice for Mom.

"Special care and great value"
I really like this community for the great care they provide my mother-in-law. We had a meal there, and the food seemed good, and we enjoyed it. The staff is very involved with her. It’s a great value, and they have a special floor for her needs. We would recommend this community for many reasons, like the care and the value.

"Caring Haven"
I visited several places, and this one really caught my attention. They take great care of Alzheimer's patients, ensuring they're not stuck in bed all day. Plus, the price is reasonable.

"Pleasant Community Tour for Wife's Needs"
I went to see this place for my wife. The tour was nice. The place seemed good, all clean and organized. The people I met were nice too. They helped with my questions and told me stuff. It was a good tour, but not right for my wife.

"Okay Visit, Community Could Use a Refresh"
My visit to this community was okay. It left me quite impressed. The place had a good vibe, reminding me a bit of home. However, the community could definitely use a few updates. It was an alright visit, but I doubt I'd have been comfortable keeping my dad there." .

"Short Stay, Big Impact"
Our time at this community was awesome. My loved one stayed for just a day and a half, but the staff and caregivers were amazing. It’s a fantastic place, and everything from the care to the cleanliness was great. A Place For Mom was super helpful, and we appreciate everything they did for us.

"Great place with caring staff and good food!"
The food at East Village Place looked great, and I didn’t hear any complaints. The staff were amazing with my mom and the other residents. They are very caring, kind, and treat everyone with respect. The community is clean and well-maintained. While my mom didn’t join any activities, there were many options available. I would definitely recommend this community.

"It's great! The staff is really nice."
It's great here! The staff is really nice and caring. This assisted living place has two levels of memory care. The food is tasty, and the rooms feel homey. They offer a good mix of memory care and assisted living. I suggest visiting two or three times to watch and explore. I know you’re busy, but it’s worth it!

"Cozy and Welcoming"
The East Village Place is cozy and welcoming. The apartments are nice. The grounds are pretty. The staff talks well. They do many activities: singing, crafts, bingo, church, and more. They have a van for trips. On July 4th, they had ice cream.

"Great place for mom, highly recommend!"
We’re really glad our mom is at EVP. She needs extra care to help her recover, and they’ve been great at providing what she needs, including physical and occupational therapy. She feels safe there, as they focus on keeping residents safe from falls and injuries. The food is excellent, and they have worked well with our family. Her room is beautiful and renovated. She’s been enjoying activities, which I thought would be hard for her. From the moment she arrived, she felt welcomed, and she told me just the other day that everyone knows her name—“It’s like Cheers,” she said!

"Great option for in-between memory care stages, with responsive staff"
We’ve worked out most of our concerns. At first, there were some issues with the bathing schedules, but they quickly fixed them and are responsive to any other concerns we have. She loves the food, though the portions are a bit larger than she’s used to. The pricing is fairly average. They were the only facility we visited with two levels of memory care, while others only had one secure level. For someone in between stages of memory care, this place is a great choice.

"brackets"
Rewrite this 4.5 star review of an assisted living facilities retaining the tone and using 8th grade level american English: 'East Village Place was able to take my mother in on short notice, after she accepted that she could no longer live alone. By entering as a respite client, mother understood that she was going there for 30 days and could leave at the end of that time, if she really wanted to. Luckily, she liked it and has agreed to stay. This made the transition easier as it was her decision to continue. The staff has been wonderful, encouraging her to participate in the activities there but insuring that her choices are respected. I would highly recommend East Village Place.' then create a headline in 10 words or less and placed in double that summarizes the review and resembles 'They rescued my mom and me' .

"Moderately Staffed Assisted Living with Amenities for Independent Living"
Assisted Living: One and two bedroom apartments. Cats are allowed. You can eat meals together. They give you a first-alert wristband that they check multiple times a day. The walls in the halls are light gold. They have washing machines and dryers. There's a full-service beauty shop on site. They have Watermark University and you can have your personal computer or use theirs. They focus on stimulating your mind, learning, and socializing. The basic services include weekly cleaning and changing your bed. They'll help you with cleaning yourself if you need it and can drive you to go shopping, to the doctor and so forth. They take care of Coumadin blood work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The place is clean and smells fresh. The apartments come without furniture. Not many staff members are around - one at the desk, one with games, one in the empty fitness room. The apartments are about 600 square feet with a country-style kitchen that you can use to cook if you want. They have a chef's club, art classes, and more. You pay out of pocket; there's no need for assets. They charge a one-time community fee. You have to lease for 12 months. You must give 60 days' notice if you want to move out. The apartments are ready for cable and phone connections. You can get an Internet hookup. There are no cooking facilities in the apartments. The apartments come with a fridge of suitable size.

"Impressed with Memory Care and Flexible Options"
I was really impressed with this place, especially because they focus on memory care. I like that they let her come in for a few hours to see if she gets used to it, and it's free. They also offer day care, weekends, and respite care from one week to a month. I couldn't see any activities because they were having lunch at the time.
